I have 6 years of experience in specialty areas such as; child centered programming and leading
for after-school programs, as well as instructing recreational gymnastics classes for children and youth
ages 2 - 15 years of age. I am a responsible instructor with excellent communication and management
skills that have continually developed throughout my experiences. I feel I have earned the trust and
respect from students, parents, colleagues and administration. In turn, this further motivates me to pursue
a career in actively inspiring and engaging children through positive interactions and learning
atmospheres, with emphasis at the preschool or elementary level.

Interests:
I enjoy rollerblading, biking, hiking, swimming, gymnastics, bowling, volleyball, baseball and
curling. On a personal level, I feel that one of my strongest attributes is working within a collaborative
environment with the company children or adults.
Extra information:
I am reliable, dependable, trustworthy and a team player. I am very patient and enthusiastic when
it comes to the many aspects of learning and problem solving. I have a positive attitude around others and
am always prepared to help when needed. When it comes to instruction, I am a very firm but kind
individual who promotes positive reinforcement and aims to celebrate even the smallest of successes. I
am a physically fit person who enjoys participating in various activities and is always interested in
learning things from people of all ages!
