The following homework is due by FRIDAY, April 24th:


Complete this weeks ELA session on ScootPad for upcoming NWEA.
Practice this weeks spelling words on ScootPad. Have fun!
Read the ScootPad e-book of your choice. Make sure its at your good fit DRA reading
level. Discuss your favorite part with your family!
Do your one ScootPad math practice (more practice, more coins!)
Learn this weeks word wall words and review ones from past weeks.

10:00-2:00 Earth Fair Field trip! Chaperones needed!


8:30-3:00 Field trip to Upland Hills Farm
2:00 First Grade Play FROG AND TOAD
8:30 Field trip to Pine River Nature Center
Last Day of School!

EARTH FAIR field trip: Be sure to dress for the weather and pack a GREEN lunch! (Information
on this was sent home Monday) Campers will leave via school bus at 10:00 and load up to be
back by 2:00. Chaperones are still needed to meet us there!
Upland Hills Farm: We will be furthering our Science/Social Studies lessons by taking a trip to
the farm!
We will explore Needs of Life, Characteristics of Parent to Young,
Producers/Consumers, Transportation, Economics, etc. Heads up: This all-day trip will cost
around $16 or so and will be on Tuesday, May 12th, so plan accordingly. More information
will come home as we get closer to the trip.
Spring writing tests have finally been graded and entered and the results were amazing!
Way to go, campers! (Special thanks to Mrs. Mayer for working with small groups during
centers to question the students on the sample writing tests. ) Miss Brandimore and I
were so proud of our scores and how hard the students worked!
Miss B. and I are excited for the all-school medal assembly next month when The March of
Dimes representatives come back and award each of us a medal for our reading!
