project and presentation of an animal of your choosing. For this project, you
will have the week to research various aspects of the animal you have
chosen, create a PowerPoint presentation of your findings, and write a two

information/PowerPoint to the class. The following are more details on
exactly what to include, exactly what you need to turn in, and
exactly when everything is due.

them/the type of habitat the animal lives in; characteristics they need
to survive in their environment; are they threatened or endangered; do
they live in groups or are they solitary; if a broad category how many
species?; etc
Appearance and general/important characteristics: what do they
look like and what characteristics are specific to them
Life Cycle Reproduction How do they care for their young?
What and how do they eat?
Defenses: How do they protect themselves? Are they prey or
predators? How do they compete for resources?
