Transition
Students will place equipment in the
equipment bag and be seated on the
white base line on the teachers cue.
Set Induction:
Today we will work on passing the
soccer ball and review the skills of
how to dribble a soccer ball.
Purpose:
The purpose of these skills is to be
able to control the ball while
executing a completed pass to a team
mate.
Transition
On the teachers cue the students will
be stand on a polly spot across from
their partner.
Lesson Core - Task 1:
The students will stand
approximately four feet across
from their partner and practice
the COTS for the soccer pass.
Demonstration Plan:
The teacher will pinpoint two students
to demonstrate the COTS for the
soccer pass.

ASSESSMENT TECHNIQUES: While students are demonstrating their passing and receiving soccer COTS
within their groups, the teacher will assess the students techniques using a formal assessment. The group who
is spotted doing the technique correctly will be used as a demonstration.
