    We all spend a majority of our time at work and spend

    more time there than with our families. If we live in a


    work environment where there is a sense of
    powerlessness regarding ones performance, it makes
    getting through our day very difficult. And this sense of
    powerlessness can lead to negative attitudes in the
    workplace.
    Dealing with challenges and conflict
    becomes much more difficult when negative attitudes
    prevail.
    Your attitude can significantly create an
    environment where people can collaborate and work
    together to get our jobs done. But why is having and
    maintaining a positive work attitude such a chore and a
    challenge?! Why is it difficult for some to adjust work behaviors and habits according to the SM
    way of life and yet it seems to be no hard task for some? The answer lies in the fact that ones
    attitude IS a conscious, personal decision. The kind of attitude one chooses to internalize is a
    decision that only the individual can
    make, in spite of all the circumstances

    Attend the SMIC WAVE
    (Work Attitude and Values Enhancement Program).

    This workshop reviews the participants work values in the light of the SMIC corporate values and
    the components of ethical decision-making.
    Experiential learning experiences lead the
    participants on a journey to discover their own work value system. The participants are then
    encouraged to consider their responsibility to the work organization and to others in the
    workplace and how that might play a role in work productivity, decision making and even
    individual and corporate survival as SMIC charts its course in the light of achieving the corporate
    vision and mission.

    Program Objectives:

    The participants will learn that they have a choice as to


    how to respond to the events of everyday work.

    The participants will learn how their individual roles in the organization
    contribute to the overall transformation of the organization.

    They will learn to identify and clarify their personal values and goals as they relate to the
    organizations values and goals.
