MATERIALS REQUIRED
1.RAGI -100 GMS
2.WHEAT WHOLE GRAINS – 100GMS
3.SOYA BEANS -100GMS
4.GINGELY SEEDS—100GMS
5.GROUND NUTS – 100 GMS
6. DATES - 500 GMS
PROCESS
Roast/fry the first 5 items separately on low heat and grind them into fine powder and mix in a bowl or
plate. Remove seeds from dates and grind into fine paste and mix all the ingredients and press them
into LADDU shape (each 50 Gms)
Note: - De-oiled cake of Gingely seeds may also be used .its more nutritious than seeds.
Remarks. We can use all are some of the above and Dates can be increased or reduced to one’s taste or
if diabetics, can use minimum .I have tried pure Soya laddus with dates and they tasted excellent .

I designed a protein & calcium rich Cake Laddu which is very cheap, and tasty.
CAKE LADDU
1. De fatted Gingely seed Cake - 100gms. Cost – Rs. 3 to 4
2. Dates 100 gms Cost –Rs. 4 to 5
Procedure:- Grind oil cake into fine powder in mixy. Make fine paste of Dates in a mixy. Put both in a
mixer and thourougly mix them. Add ELACHI powder to taste(optional). Press them into Laddus of
40-50 gms.
Each Laddu gives us 600-700 mg of calcium and 12 gms of protein. So we can get daily requirement
of calcium and 15 to 20 % of protein, by enjoying one such Laddu, costing just Rs 2/-
For the balance requirement of protein and micro-nutrients,vitamins, its ideal to take 100 gms of
sprouted seeds &cereals.
