DC motor, Relay, Bread board, voltmeter, diode, photodiode, oscilloscope and any relevant equipment in the circuit lab.
Theory : DC motor, H Bridge (DC motor drive), diode and photodiode circuit.
Instruction a) Learn and apply the DC motor and H-bridge theory. b) Construct the circuit required to run a DC motor. and analyze the outcome. c) Construct a circuit using diode and photodiode to calculate the DC motor speed.
In this lab, you are required to make a detail report about: 1) How to run the DC motor clockwise and counterclockwise 2) The characteristics of the DC motor such as voltage required and connection needed to run it. 3) The DC motor performance such as speed.
