MAT1500 Tutorial Week 2

The document is a tutorial for an engineering mathematics course covering topics in algebra including solving equations, inequalities, and simultaneous equations. It provides example problems for students to work through related to solving different types of equations; determining the number of roots for quadratic equations; solving inequalities; expressing equations in interval notation; solving simultaneous equations; simplifying fractions; word problems involving tickets sales and boat speeds; making variables the subject of formulas; finding surface areas of cuboids; and solving absolute value inequalities.
