Bronte School Headmasters Newsletter

Friday 25th May
Theres a reminder this week about applying for tickets. On Wednesday Years 3 and 4 braved the weather and visited the Kent Showground at Detling for the Living Land Show. Mrs. Ansell reports: We all managed to enjoy a wonderful action-packed day during which we watched sheep shearing and a birds of prey show, stroked calves, lambs, dogs and chickens (amongst many other animals) and tasted many different fruits and vegetables. We all learned a lot about farming in Kent.

Friday 25th May


We are asking the children to make it a royal day and dress in red, white and blue colours (but no football shirts, please). Please complete the lunch order form by Tuesday 22nd.

Saturday 16th June


Please put the date in your diaries. More details will be available at the end of next week. Most of Year 6 took part this week in the Kent Rider Safer Cycling Courseand they all impressed with their skillswell done! They will be presented with their certificates in assembly this morning.

The House cricket match is taking place today on the playground rather than at the Bat and Ball Ground because of the state of the ground.
