Grease socket sealings and pipe spigot ends properly before mounting! 2. Pull installation device apart (push it together for dismantling) 3. Put installation device onto the pipe / pipe fitting / gate valve from above in such a way that the socket clamping jaws are situated behind the socket (dismantling: in front of the socket). 4. Adjust the installation device to the relevant nominal width by means of the adjusting spindles. The socket clamping jaws and the pipe sliding blocks shall be situated approximately on the longitudinal axis of the pipe / pipe fitting / gate valve. 5. Set the two pipe clamping guide shoes to "installation" ("dismantling") and shift the pipe clamping sliding blocks in such a way that the guide shoe has sufficient adjusting space. 6. Fasten the socket clamping spindles loosely by hand, and fasten the pipe clamping spindles handtight. 7. Put the supplied driving ratchets onto the driving spindles and push the pipe / pipe fitting / gate valve into the socket via regular movements (dismantling: pull them out of the socket.) 8. Loosen the clamps and take off the installation device.
