Has Our Government Declared War Upon Us? Neal Ross I am quite aware that a good many people are offended, and possibly feel threatened because of the things I say in these little rants of mine. With my incessant talk of tyranny and oppression they probably think I am nuts, and feel the world would be much better off if someone were to just lock me up and throw away the key. I keep hearing that America is the land of the free and the things I talk about simply couldn't happen in this country. Our founding fathers felt otherwise, and we would be wise to would heed their warnings. In the Preamble to a Bill for the More General Diffusion of Knowledge, Thomas Jefferson wrote, "Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny." Were he alive today, Jefferson would be shaking his head in despair saying, "I tried to warn you that this could happen, but you just wouldn't listen." I know that, unlike me, most Americans have lives and they simply don't have the time to read things that might educate them. After all, the prime time lineup on TV has got to be more important than learning about the history of your country. But you can bet your ass that those who wish to enslave us are well versed on our nation's history. They know what makes us tick, and they damn sure know what mistakes not to make to achieve their goal.

You may be thinking that if the things I am talking about are true somebody would be telling you about it. Well I'm telling you about it, but I guess I don't count. There are also a large number of other writers who are dedicating most of their time in the attempt to inform you, but it seems nobody wants to pay any serious attention to a bunch of crazy people who believe in conspiracy theories. The truth is, for the most part, people won't believe what I say is happening until they hear about it on the five o'clock news, and that simply isn't going to happen. Also, don't expect your government to come out and tell you. Do you honestly think that anyone, whose goal was to enslave you is going to hold a press conference and tell you? If you believe that you might as well stop reading now and go back to your TV shows because you are beyond hope. I hate to have to tell you this, but if you want the truth, you are going to have to stop trusting the media to give it to you, as they are guilty of hiding the truth and manipulating your thoughts and emotions to better forward the agenda of those who would enslave you. Famed physicist Albert Einstein stated as much when he said, " The ruling class has the schools and press under its thumb. This enables it to sway the emotions of the masses." Don't take Einstein's word about it? How about a former senior producer for CBS political news? Richard Cohen, who was that, and also a senior producer for CNN, once said, " We are going to impose our

agenda on the coverage by dealing with issues and subjects that we choose to deal with." If that weren't enough, how about a United States Congressman? In 1917, on the floor of the House of Representatives, Oscar Calloway stated the following, "In March, 1915, the J.P. Morgan interests, the steel, shipbuilding, and powder interests, and their subsidiary organizations, got together 12 men high up in the newspaper world and employed them to select the most influential newspapers in the United States, and a sufficient number of them, to control generally the policy of the daily press.They found it was only necessary to purchase the control of 25 of the greatest papers. An agreement was reached; the policy of the papers was bought, to be paid for by the month; an editor was furnished for each paper, to properly supervise and edit information regarding the questions of preparedness, militarism, financial policies, and other things of national and international nature, considered vital to the interests of the purchasers." If you tune in to any of the major news programs, and that includes FOX and CNN, the news you are watching is their version of the truth, designed to manipulate you and control you. If you want the truth, you are going to have to do as I did, spend countless hours sifting through articles on the internet looking for it. Or you can sit back and wait until the truth comes knocking on your door; but by then it will be too late for you to do anything about it. It is not only the media that has been used to manipulate your thinking, but also your education. How much time, and this especially applies to those under the age of 40, did you spend in

school learning about the American Revolution and the Constitution? Noah Webster once said, " Every child in America should be acquainted with his own country. He should read books that furnish him with ideas that will be useful to him in life and practice. As soon as he opens his lips, he should rehearse the history of his own country." When I see high school graduates who cannot name our first president, or what we are celebrating on July 4, I hardly think our schools are teaching our children the principles upon which this nation was founded. This has all been intentional, these people realized that it would be impossible to enslave a people who understood the true nature for which their government had been instituted; the preservation of their rights. Therefore, for them to be able to accomplish that goal, a systematic plan of brainwashing and misinformation was put into place to replace the belief in individual rights and individual sovereignty with one of a government which was all powerful and could do whatever was in the best interests of the nation as a whole. Hillary Clinton stated as much when she said, " We must stop thinking of the individual and start thinking about what is best for society." Yet, Daniel Webster warned us that "Good intentions will always be pleaded for every assumption of authority. It is hardly too strong to say that the Constitution was made to guard the people against the dangers of good intentions." If you had read any of the writings of our founders you would have realized that they warned us of the very things that are happening in this country today:

"If people let government decide what foods they eat and what medicines they take, their bodies will soon be in as sorry a state as are the souls of those who live under tyranny." Jefferson " The means of defense against foreign danger historically have become the instruments of tyranny at home." Madison " I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power than by violent and sudden usurpations " Madison " A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have." Jefferson Finally, as Jefferson warned, " Single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of the day; but a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period, and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers (administrators) too plainly proves a deliberate, systematic plan of reducing us to slavery." They have executed their plan flawlessly, as only a few out of the 300 plus million people in this country are even aware that anything is amiss, and due to the programming you have been given, you label us as conspiracy theorists and lunatics. Over the course of time, laws have been passed which have given government control of the food supply, the water supply, control over our modes of transportation, what we can say, and even allowing the government to monitor us in our homes for suspected acts of terror. As long as you do not rock the boat or pose

a threat to their plans, you do not even realize that you no longer live in the land of the free. However, try exercising any of your unalienable rights without a permit or license and see how long it takes for the hammer of justice to come down upon you. Look at the various government agencies and how they flaunt their power in full military gear. Look at how local police are exercising their power and authority against anyone who steps out of line, and you will get a picture of what may/will happen to everyone when the system finally collapses. If you aren't aware, did you know that the Department of Homeland Security recently made a purchase of over 450 million rounds of ammunition? For what purpose could they possibly need that much ammo? When I heard that, the first thing that came to my mind was a quote from one of the Matrix movies where Morpheus says, " A sentinel for every man, woman, and child in Zion. That sounds exactly like the thinking of a machine to me." One of the men who was a great influence in the thinking of men like Thomas Jefferson was John Locke. From his Second Treatise on Civil Government, Locke states, " Whenever the legislators endeavor to take away and destroy the property of the people, or to reduce them to slavery under arbitrary power, they put themselves into a state of war with the people..." Has our government declared war against us, the people? Is another American Revolution on the horizon, or has it already begun? In a letter written to Thomas Jefferson, John Adams stated, " As to the history of the revolution, my ideas may be peculiar, perhaps singular.

What do we mean by the Revolution? The war? That was no part of the revolution; it was only an effect and consequence of it. The revolution was in the minds of the people, and this was effected ... before a drop of blood was shed." You will recall, the actual fighting did not begin until the British tried to disarm the colonists at Lexington and Concord. So, it would seem obvious that the final step in their plan of total enslavement of the people, would be to take away their ability to resist, to disarm them. Those who wish to deprive you of your liberty have made it clear that the total disarmament of the people IS their goal. In a 1995 showing of CBS-TV's 60 Minutes, the wicked witch of the west Diane Feinstein said, " If I could have gotten 51 votes in the Senate of the United States for an out-right ban, picking up every one of them... 'Mr. and Mrs. America, turn 'em all in,' I would have done it." Former Attorney General Janet Reno, in 1993 said, "Waiting periods are only a step. Registration is only a step. The prohibition of private firearms is the goal." From the National Educator, January 1994, gun control advocate Sarah Brady was downright blunt when she told Senator Howard Metzenbaum, "Our main agenda is to have ALL guns banned. We must use whatever means possible. It doesn't matter if you have to distort facts or even lie. Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who would resist us have been totally disarmed." So you see, they do plan on trying to disarm the people, and take away their ability to resist. Our founders warned us about this as well. George Mason clearly stated that " To disarm the people....is the best

and most effectual way to enslave them." Andrew Fletcher said, " The possession of arms is the distinction of a free man from a slave." James Madison explained that " The Constitution preserves the advantage of being armed which Americans possess over the people of almost every other nation where the governments are afraid to trust the people with arms." Therefore, if the government does not trust us to keep and bear arms, why in God's name should we trust them? The government has already shown its willingness to disarm the American people in times of crisis. Just look back at the actions of the New Orleans Police and the National Guard during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina and you will see that the government will go door to door confiscating your guns, even though you have done absolutely nothing to warrant such confiscations. If they did it then, you can bet your ass they will do it again in the event of another full scale crisis. Add to that the fact that the odds are that the U.S. will sign the UN Arms Trade Treaty. We the people did not elect the UN to represent us, and they have no legal authority to restrict our right to possess firearms. Yet, according to former Ambassador to the UN, John Bolton, that is exactly what this treaty will do. Bolton is quoted as saying that the treaty "is trying to act as though this is really just a treaty about international arms trade between nation states, but there is no doubt that the real agenda here is domestic firearms control." None of this may mean anything to you as you may not own guns, or you may not notice that your freedom is being eroded. But it

damn sure worries me. I could honestly care less if you choose to deny the obvious truth that your government is out to enslave you. Unfortunately, the actions of the government will affect me as much as they affect you. However, as Henry Ford once said, " Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is probably the reason so few engage in it." Well, I have certainly provided you with a lot to think about. So I will allow it to sink in while I return you to your regularly scheduled programming.
