Working as a Senior Member Technical Staff in a team of 10 associates. Responsible for analyzing the requirements, preparing the functional spec, estimating the required effort, preparing for technical POC for the design and coding.

Preparing high level design documents and guides the team in design as well as development of the solutions.

Project worked in: TCS BNCS insurance, TCS FS Role Details & Contributions:
Worked as a technical architect and lead for a team of 7 - 8 associates. Responsible for analyzing the requirements, preparing the functional spec, estimating the required effort, preparing the logical architectural artifacts for technical modeling and design and code review.

Preparing high level design documents and guides the team in design as well as development of the solutions. Also estimating, planning and carrying out the application performance benchmarking using Load Runner, in request of RFPs and / or to certify the product performance capabilities. The product recorded a TPS of 8.5 with 4000 virtual users.

Advocated, designed and developed a SOA suite for the product interfacing with enterprise wide applications. Used WebLogic web services API, AXIS2, XMLBeans and JAXB. Designed and Developed diagnostic tools and components for the rule base. It helped the users test and rectifies business rules prior to deployment into the production environment. Enhanced the product's product configuration module and rule configuration module, changed the complete configuration process using web 2.0 and AJAX. Provide technical support to the pre-sales team during complex POCs and product demonstration to prospective clients at different places in the world. Designed a batch scheduler for the base product version of TCS BNCS insurance.

Other Achievements: Completed and delivered a module in record time, which was estimated to be of 530 PD, we could complete it in roughly 330 PD. Description of the project/product: My Oracle Support is Oracles major support application development
team. It has around 11 major components and each component is managed by a team of directors and senior directors. The MOS product suite is one of the largest support applications in the world. MOS-FM focuses on managing the files that are uploaded to the system as a part of support activities for Oracles various line of business. It has got no UI component. And majorly deals with the various diagnostic files uploaded by the customers for the support activities.

MOS-FM does a virus scan on the files uploaded using different user interfaces by the customers and then forwards them to the core application to process the archive files. In the Diagnostic Post Processing section the application un-archives the files and dispatches them to various storage locations.

Description of the project/product: The product supports end to end solution for insurance company back

office operations. A J2ee web application with enterprise web services interfaces for integration with enterprise applications. The application supports document generation and storing capacity to support enterprise wide document needs. The application is portable across major application server vendors like Oracle WebLogic, IBM Websphere application servers. Major clients are NIA India, AXA, SBI Life, KOTAK, BNHL, WestPAC, etc. The product is being ported to other open application servers as well as database servers like jBoss and MySQL, DB2. The product has a rule base at its core to address the volatile nature of the insurance business requirements through out the world.

Description of the project: HOME is an application of United Airlines that provides solutions in the field of

layover of aircraft crews. Some of the key areas are reservation of hotel for crew accommodation during layover, transportation of crew from airport to hotel and back, cancellation of hotel reservation, crew meal and so on. The purpose of the HOME is to act as a tool that will automate the process of tracking the layover information of flight crews. It provides the domicile supervisors and managers a user-friendly tool to track related information of layover of flight crews. The system provides the users with the necessary information to take action in a timely fashion The Project uses a single Servlet is as the controller and all requests from the client passes through it. The Servlet calls the business logic defined in the beans, which in turn calls the respective service, defined in the TUXEDO server. Pro* C is used for developing middle ware services for database interaction.

Description of the project: The Project contains Design and Development of an application that will

facilitate communication between one or more remote machines with the Air India mainframe. The application in raw terms implements the MATIP protocol in providing the communication. It has the ability to communicate with multiple remote machines simultaneously. It can parse the data and control packets there by generating logs as and when required. The logs generation is also configurable, so that the administrator can customize it as per the need.
