Core A Notebooking History
I created these pages to supplement Sonlight Core A, although they can easily be used with other programs. These pages and this author have no affiliation with Sonlight. All of the images are from the Public Domain. These are simple notebook pages for grades K-2, although some of them could be used for older children. The lines are narrow, single lines, as the child will be narrating while the instructor transcribes for them. Of course, the child could write on them as well. If you would like to see these pages with the traditional 3-lined handwriting lines or the 2-lined Handwriting Without Tears lines, please visit http://butterfliesandbarefootlasses.blogspot.com/p/requests.html on my blog and make a request. :)
The pages are self explanatory. Please note in small print on the right lower-hand corner is the page number of some Usborne Enclyclopedias that are used in Sonlight. If you need help with answering any questions, the page numbers are available for you. ULLA is Usborne Living Long Ago from Core A. UILCE is Usborne Internet-Linked Children's Encyclopedia used from the same core. Some are not labeled, though probably come from the Internet Linked Children's Encyclopedia . I hope you have fun with these pages! For a rundown on how to have your young child narrate and use these pages, see my blog post (http://butterfliesandbarefootlasses.blogspot.com/2013/04/blank-notebook-pageequalsblank-stares.html) to help you instruct your child. If you want to share these, please direct friends to my blog post instead of sharing this PDF directly. Thank you so much for that!
