Current MBC notices, announcements, flyers, and community information are as follows...

There will be one service this Sunday, July 14 at 9:30a.m no breakfast will be served. Casual attire no torn jeans, shorts or tank tops. ************ This Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. Macedonia will worship with St. Johns Baptist Church, 1595 St. John Road, Gordonsville, VA for their 2013 Revival Service. MBCs Judah Choir will minister in music. Our ushers, officers and members are asked to be a part of this worship service. There are seats available on the commercial bus with payment ($20) at the Information Center. The bus will depart MBC at the end of the 9:30am service. If you will be driving, please call the church office so that you can be counted in the number of people that will be served dinner. ************ Financial Freedom Workshop on Saturday, July 13, Macedonia and Mt. Zion Baptist Churches along with AARP will present a FREE workshop on how to improve your credit and get out of debt and different ways of banking and saving your funds. All the details are on the attached flyer. If you have any questions, you may speak with Min. Janice Clarke. ************ Deacon John Jenkins will be appearing on WOL Radio 1340 AM Gospel Hour on Saturday, July 13, at 7:00 p.m. He will be participating in a panel discussion, and you may hear him sing. He hopes you all will be listening and please pass the word to other members. ************ Place your S.H.A.R.E. order(s) on or before Monday, July 15 at the Information Center or by calling the church office. The July S.H.A.R.E. menu is attached. S.H.A.R.E. distribution day is Saturday, July 27 from 6:30am8:45am in the Multipurpose Room. Volunteers are always welcome on distribution day to assist in assembling the orders. ************ The next scheduled Evangelism Ministry training session will be held on Tuesday, July 16 at 7pm. ************

The Noon Day Hour of Power will be on Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at which time the speakers will be MIT Noreen Murphy, MIT George Pittmon and MIT Cassandra Bates. You can pick up a bagged lunch at the end of the service. ************ Join the Womens Ministry on Saturday, July 20, 2013 from 8:00 am 12:00 noon, for the Not Enough Love Workshop. Romans 12:9 -16 (NLT) says, Dont just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. The Workshop is free of charge, breakfast will be served and child care will be provided. Please register at the Information Center or see Deaconess Pittmon or Minister Clarke for additional information. ************ Usher Ministrys Annual Day is Sunday, July 21 at 3:00pm. Pastor Martin Pickett of First Baptist Church of Merrifield will be the guest speaker. Make plans now to celebrate with our Ushers, as their work is an important part of the worship experience at MBC! ************ July 22-25, 2013 at 6:45 p.m. will be Macedonias Vacation Bible School Jesus Family Reunion, The Remix! Each Thematic worship service will be at 9:30am. If you would like the opportunity to promote your business to the Macedonia congregation, on Sunday, August 11th, Macedonia will host an Entrepreneurial Showcase in the Multipurpose Room following the 9:30am service. Registration will take place Sunday, July 14th thru Sunday, August 3rd at the Information Center. A non-refundable registration fee of $25.00 is due at the time of registration. Each member is asked to wear the color that represents your generation. If you were born before 1945 Purple between 1946-1959 Light Blue between 1960-1972 Red between 1973-1985 Yellow between 1986-2013- Orange

The 2nd Sunday (Sept. 8) is Homecoming and designated Family & Friends Day. Invite your family, friends, and past members to come and worship with us for our Homecoming at 7:45am and/or the 10:45am Worship Services. Dinner will be served after the 10:45am service. ************ If you cannot come to the church for the Weekly Noon Day Prayer on Wednesdays, you can call in and participate on the Conference Call Prayer Line: Dial-in Number: 712-775-7000, Participant Access Code: 115939#. ************ If you know a member that is not receiving the weekly E-messenger, please encourage them to send their e-mail address to the E-messenger@mbcva.ws so, they too, can be up-to-date on all activities of MBC and the community. Also remember to contact the e-messenger if your e-mail address has changed. ************ All bulletin announcements and meeting room requests must be sent directly to the church clerk, L. The Sunday bulletins are distributed by e-mail and limited copies are available on Sundays for our Forerunners and visitors and those who do not have access to e-mail. ************ CDs and DVDs of Sunday morning sermons are available for purchase after the 7:45am and 10:45am services at the Information Center. ************ The 2013 Bible study schedule is as follows and begins at 7pm

Each 1st Wednesday will be Corporate Prayer and Praise. Everyone is encouraged and invited to attend. Every 2nd Wednesday of the month will be Pastors Bible Study which is open to everyone. Every 3rd Wednesday of the month will be Mens and Womens Bible Study. Each 4th Wednesday will be Young Adult Bible Study. The 5th Wednesday of each month will be Leadership Night. All leaders of MBC will meet with Pastor Hamlin.

Volunteer to change a child's life! iCan Bike (formally Lose the Training Wheels) is designed to help individuals with disabilities learn how to ride a bike independently. Spotters are needed July 29-August 2, 2013 at Kenmore Middle School (200 S. Carlin Springs Road) to run alongside the child as they learn, providing physical and emotional support. Volunteers must be 16 years or older and have sufficient stamina and strength to walk and run alongside a bike for 75 minutes.
