Scopul website-ului linux-romania.com este in principal de informare si promovare a linuxului.Exista o sectiune tutoriale si scripturi linux scrise de mine pentru diverse scopuri,unele fiind suficieant de testate, altele nu.Download-ul acestor scripturi este gratis,principala raspundere a unor eventuale neplaceri apartine exclusiv celui care face download.Website-ul inca nu are sectiune de recenzii asupra subiectelor, ele putand fi postate in sectiunea "Forum" Tot efortul de a mentine acest site activ imi apartine in totalitate,cei care doresc sa tina acasa un server pot sa ma contacteze si le voi da detalii care pot fi scapate la prima vedere. (aer conditionat,consum de curent,deranjul produs de zgomot,probleme cu obligatia contractuala a ISP privind IP static si rDNS,geometria sifonierului in care se baga serverele rack 19, s.am.d) Promovarea linux in Romania se face cu pasi mici, in general publicul nu este dispus sa accepte si sa faca schimbari,orice tentativa de a diminua conceptul de antivirus este privita cu repulsie si reactia este una virulenta.2012 a adus mari schimbari in unix,iar aceste schimbari se vor simti cu precadere peste aproximatix 3-4 ani ,cand legile copyright vor cunoaste o inasprire drastica,Japonia deja introducand pedepsa cu inchisoarea si amenzi uriase pentru unele abateri.
