On behalf of iFest Indian Institute of Technology (Roorkee) & Revert technology Pvt. Ltd. India as the host of this
Championship, it gives us great pleasure to introduce RoboFeast 2014-15, A National Quad Copter(UAV Robot)
Championship to be held at IIT(Roorkee). RoboFeast 2014-15 is sponsored & funded by Indias most prestigious
company, Revert Technology Pvt. Ltd. RoboFeast 2014-15 will bring students from all over the country together to
participate in the celebration of knowledge and creative extravagance along with experts from the fields of academic
as well as industry. With technological innovation scaling new heights, RoboFeast 2014-15 promises to keep a tab
on the advancements and stay in sync with the mood of the times. With the introduction of several new events, and
old ones remodeled, RoboFeast 2014-15 is all set to create a new benchmark.
This year we are organizing RoboFeast 2014-15 A National Level Quad Copter(UAV Robot) Championship in
association with iFest IIT(Roorkee). We are organizing Zonal Rounds of RoboFeast 2014-15 in only selected
Engineering Colleges all across India. So we are looking forward to make your esteemed college as Zonal Center
for this event.
RoboFeast 2014-15 is the most prestigious student technology competition, bringing together student innovators
from all over the India. If Students have a great idea in UAV, bring it to life through RoboFeast 2014-15 with iFest
IIT-Roorkee & Revert Technology Pvt. Ltd resources and support, students can make a great ultimate flying
machines!

About The RoboFeast 2014-15
RoboFeast 2014-15 is a National Quad Copter Championship & Workshop series jointed by iFest IIT-Roorkee &
Revert Technology. All the preliminary rounds will be held at only selected Zonal Centers across India in present
academic year & the grand finale will be on March 2015 at IIT-Roorkee under the banner of National Quad Copter
Championship. This is a 3 Stage Event as detailed below:
Initial Round (To be held at Zonal Centers):

Competitions will be held at different Zonal centers in all over India though Workshop on Quad Copter.
All the participants who want to participate in RoboFeast 2014-15 are required to attend the workshop at any
Zonal Centers.
During the workshop Quad Copter Kit will be provided only for hand on session by Sponsors of this event to a
Group of 4 Participants in slots. After Workshop kit will be taken away.
The duration of the Workshop will be of 2 Days (7-8 hours each day).

Second Round (Zonal Round to be held at zonal center):

Just after completion of Workshop a Mega Competition (Prelims Rounds) of by RoboFeast 2014-15 will be held
in college.
Winners will be awarded with Certificate of Merit & are required to participate in Final Rounds which will be
held at IIT-Roorkee

Third Round (FINAL Round to be held at IIT-Roorkee):

Winners of Zonal Centers will be called to participate in the biggest final round of RoboFeast 2014-15 will be
on March 2015 at IIT-Roorkee.
Top 3 Teams will be awarded as winners of The RoboFeast 2014-15 Championship & will be awarded &
honored by iFest IIT-Roorkee.

Process guidelines for Zonal Center

We want your association to make this event a big success in your college.
Make the confirmation letter on college letter head & send a scan copy of letter by mail. First-come-first-served
policy will be followed for RoboFeast 2014-15 Centers.
A proper publicity will be done about the event at the All India Level.
Zonal center can be finalized by telephonic conversation with Coordinators of RoboFeast 2014-15, according to
the College feasibility and slots available in our calendar.
The entire event will be conducted at college campus.
Each student participating in the RoboFeast 2014-15 will get a participation certificate with RoboFeast 2014-15 &
iFest-IIT Roorkee.

Requirements for Zonal Center
Seminar hall/classroom having the enough capacity to conduct hands-on-session for all participants.
Good Quality public address system ideally two cordless mikes will be required.
Projector/ Screen along with black/white board for teaching and presentation purposes.
One small stereo jack cord connect to laptop for its sound system.
This Zonal Center can only be arranged for a minimum of 60 students

Responsibility of an Organizer

Hospitality (2 days) for a team of 2-3 members.
Pick and Drop facility from the nearest railway station/bus stop/ airport.






Certification Policy RoboFeast 2014-15
Certificate of Honor to Host College for encouraging & support technical event.
Certificate of Participation from RoboFeast 2014-15 (iFest) IIT-Roorkee to each participant
Certificate of Coordination from RoboFeast 2014-15 (iFest) IIT-Roorkee for all of the coordinators
Zonal Winners will participate in Final Rounds at IIT-Roorkee & get Certificate of Merit Student from
RoboFeast 2014-15 & iFest IIT-Roorkee to each Merit Student.

Event Details

The Duration of the Workshop will be of 2 Days (7-8 hours each day)

A Certificate of Participation will also be awarded to the Participant by RoboFeast 2014-15 iFest IIT-Roorkee
to each Student.

Registration charges

Registration Charges Rs.1000 per participant only.
During the workshop Free Quad Copter Kit will be provided only for hand on session to a Group of 4 Participants
in time slots. After the Workshop kit will be taken away. Participant can purchase Quad copter kit after the
workshop from our resource team
