The formula,
=SUMPRODUCT((B13:B22>=E12)*(B13:B22<=E13)), has two
arrays that evaluate to a series of Trues and Falses that are
multiplied:
=SUMPRODUCT({TRUE;TRUE;TRUE;TRUE;TRUE;TRUE;TRUE;TRU
E;TRUE;TRUE}*{FALSE;FALSE;TRUE;TRUE;TRUE;FALSE;FALSE;TR
UE;FALSE;TRUE}). Note that TURE*TRUE = 1; FALSE*TRUE = 0
and FALSE*FALSE = 0. The formula then evaluates to:
=SUMPRODUCT({0;0;1;1;1;0;0;1;0;1}), and then finally to : 5.
This is becasue there are 5 ocurrances when there are two
TRUEs and thus 5 times that the two conditions (between the
upper and lower bound) are met.
The formula, =COUNTIF(B13:B22,"<="&E13)COUNTIF(B13:B22,"<"&E12), counta all the ones less than or
equal to the upper bound and then subtracts all the ones less
than the lowwer bound.

The criteria is considered text by Excel. For example, counting how many 75s there are in a range of cells, the criteria is "75", even if it is a number. Another
example: the criteria for greater than 75 is ">75"; this is still true even if you construct the critera in various ways such as: ">75" or a cell reference where >75

Workbook References allow you to have formulas that look at cell
references in other workbooks.
An example of w workbook reference is:
'[EMT175-.xls]T(182)'!$C$10:$C$235
The square brackets, [ and ], are what Excel puts around the
workbook name. The apostrophes, ' and ', are what Excel puts
around the workbook name and worksheet name. The
explanation point, !, always comes after the worksheet name.
By default, when you use a workbook reference, the cell reference
is absolute (with two dollar signs). You can change it with the F4
key.
When using workbook references save the two files in a
permanent location so that the workbook with the workbook
reference can be updates if necessary.
To edit Links: 1) in Excel 2003, go to the Edit menu, Links; 2) in
Excel 2007, go to the Office Button, Prepare, Edit Links.

each column, field (variable) data must be in column, records must be in rows and
there should be no blanks in table, no blank rows or columns between the data, and
at least one blank row and column between Table/List/Database and any other data

In Excel 2003, the term for an Excel Lists/Tables/Database format is "List", and the
keyboard shortcut to create one is Ctrl + L. In Excel 2007, the term for an Excel
Lists/Tables/Database format is "Table", and the keyboard shortcut to create one is
Ctrl + T.

If you have your data in the Excel Lists/Tables/Database format, you can use the
data analysis features such as Sort, Filter, PivotTables, Subtotals, etc. If you data is in
this format your field tables and table range are dynamic
Dynamic ranges will automatically update as you add new Records!!!!
When you create an array formula you must use the keyboard shortcut; Ctrl + Shift

The MONTH function figures out what month a date is. For example
=MONTH(2/1/2008) will return the number 2 because February is the 2 month.
To add a Custom Number format, use Ctrl + 1 to open the Format Cells Dialog box,
then click on the Number tab, then click on Custom, then type mmm to show the
first three letters of the month. For more about custom Number formatting, see this
