Steve
Can you update me on where you are with the Rome Expo arrangements? I was unable
to open the attachment you sent me, so I dont have a copy of the programme.
As far as the Copenhagen conference is concerned I just dont just have time to deal
with it myself. So please can you sort this out with the Danes asap? Youll probably
need probably to contact Margrethe Rasmussen at their headquarters in Helsingborg.
Copy me in on any correspondence.
Thanks a lot. Youre a star!
Maxine
(BTW any news on Garys feasibility study???)

Dear Stephen,
I do realise that you must be very busy at the moment with all the arrangements for
our exhibition stand at the Rome Expo in two weeks time, but, if you have a spare
moment sometime over the next few days, could you possibly just have a quick look at
the first draft of my report on the ComTech feasibility study, which Ive been working
very hard on since we last spoke? As Im sure Maxine has already told you, it was
actually due last week and I know that she needs it quite urgently, but there are just a

couple of points I need to check with you, if thats OK, before I submit the final report
see attachment.
FYI, I dont know if anyone has spoken to you about it yet, but it looks like Im
probably going to be coming to Copenhagen with you, Fiona and Michael in
September after all. Youll remember from my CV when you interviewed me for this
position that I studied German and Danish at university and, as a matter of fact, I still
speak pretty good Danish, which might just come in handy in some of the bars ;-)
although Im quite sure most of the Danes well be meeting at the conference will have
no problem whatsoever with English!
Many thanks,
Gary

Hi Tim

Hows it going?

You did a great job on the presentation. Well done!

The product demo went down really well.

The only thing is, Im not too happy with the packaging design.

I suggest we have a bit of a rethink.

Lets get together next week and see what we can come up with.

Also, if you have time, could you have a look at the Singapore report?

Its very important that I have your costing for this project just as soon as you
can get it to me.

If you have any problems, give Sandra Taylor in accounts a call.

Cheers

SAMPLE ANSWER
Hi Simon
Im glad you enjoyed the presentation and Im also pleased about the response to the
product demo. I was disappointed to hear you are not keen on the design. I thought it
was quite stylish. Let me know when you are free to discuss alternatives. Im around
most of next week.
Im happy to go through the report. The costing will be ready within a few days. I may
need to check a few things with Sandra. Do you happen to have her extension
number?
Thanks a lot

Have a quick look at these figures and get back to me asap.

Let me know if you need any help with the Koreans. And copy me in on any
correspondence with them.

Could you get on to our suppliers and sort something out with them? Ill leave
the details to you, but keep me in the loop.

BTW, you did a great job on the presentation. It went down really well with the
Belgians. Well just have to wait and see what they come back to us with.

Can you update me on where we are with the Expo arrangements? Im a bit out
of touch. Can I leave it up to you to contact the speakers?

Id like to sound you out on this new packaging idea. Lets meet up to discuss it
sometime next week. BTW, I still cant seem to get through to Monica.

I know youre up to your neck in work at the moment and probably dont want to
take on any more, but could you take this Milan thing off my hands? THNQ

I havent had time to read through the whole report and Ill probably need to
check some of these figures against the computer, but leave it with me.

Thanks for your offer of a beer. If I can finish this report off by 7, I may just take
you up on it! I could certainly do with one!
