you have any questions, please contact Ms. Joy Anderson, Childrens Drama Workshop Coordinator 854-2629. PLEASE BE THERE SO WE CAN GET OUR PROGRAM STARTED!
SATURDAY, MAY 16THThe Boy Scouts will be having another Chicken Dinner. Money raised from this event help with the cost of going to summer camp. As in the past, this will
be a drive through event from 11:00am to 3:00pm here in the church parking lot. The dinner is
$7.00 and includes a half of chicken a side of green beans and coleslaw and dinner role.
SHARING OUR LOVE AND OUTREACH PROGRAMS: Instead of our regular Sunday
Themes for the month of May, we will be collecting much needed supplies for the Arnette
House. They need, SPRAY ON Sunscreen, white bath towels, hand towels, washcloths and twin
white bed sheets. Items may be dropped off at the church office or placed on the front pews on
Sunday mornings. This change will help us SHARE OUR LOVE!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Mothers Day & The Cathedral of Home
Dearest Lord,
I sit here quietly in the my room, opening my heart to you. It is so silent! But if I listen
intently, I become aware of the breathing of my children in beds down the hall. They
sigh softly or move in their beds quietly, nestled warmly into their dreams. These most
intimate sounds, coming from the people I love most in the world, transform this room.
It becomes a place of honoring you, a cathedral of joy and gratitude toward you for giving me these children.
May I always treasure these gifts you have given me. In each moment of loving them,
from kisses to laundry to kitchen, may I be aware of your presence in my life in this
way. Thank you!

on the ground there, and for Global Ministries five missionaries
and their families assigned to serve there.
