The Pyramids
The Treasures Within is to show what items the kings took to the afterlife with them as well as the
pyramids themselves. The Pharaohs took necklaces made of solid gold to statues of their gods to
help them alone the way to their afterlife. Pyramids were on the dead side of the Nile River to show
that everyone on that side was dead and the pyramid was meant to keep the mummy of the Pharaoh
safe from any grave robber that tried to break into the final resting place of a once great ruler. The
Pharaohs were incased in a several layer sarcophagus with the final layer which is shown on the
poster made of gold with magnificent detail in the writing and drawing on the final layer before the
mummy itself. The background is the Great Pyramid of Giza to show the greatness of what the
Pharaohs were kept in. Each stone block was 2 to 15 tons and the base was almost a perfect square.
