Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode invites online application from working professionals
for the 8th batch of Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP-08)
,pioneers in Executive Post Graduate programme delivered through interactive learning

DURATION

: Two Years

ELIGIBILITY:

a. A Bachelor's Degree* or its equivalent in any discipline with minimum 50% aggregate
mark or equivalent CGPA.
b. 5 Years of managerial/ entrepreneurial/ professional experience^ after successful
completion of graduation as on 25th September, 2015.
^Work experience before completion of graduation will not be considered for calculating total experience.

*Bachelors degree awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in
India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University
under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 ( http://www.ugc.ac.in/oldpdf/alluniversity.pdf )or possess an equivalent
qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The percentage of marks obtained by the
candidate in the bachelor's degree would be calculated based on the practice followed by the university/institution
from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of
marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the
university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor's degree. In case the university/ institution does not
have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the
candidate's CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.
**CAT & GMAT score not older than 2 years from the last date of online application for Admission -2015.

ADMISSION & SELECTION:

Admission is based on the Educational Qualifications, Work Experience, Performance in the

EMAT Entrance Test, Profile Evaluation & Personal Interview.
Applicants with valid CAT score (Min 75 percentile) or GMAT score (Min 650 Score) will be
directly considered for the interview.
Results will be announced in the IIM Kozhikode website only .Candidates are advised to visit
the website regularly for latest updates.

EMAT Executive Management Aptitude Test

Candidates who do not have CAT/GMAT score, required to appear for EMAT (Executive
Management Aptitude Test) conducted by IIM Kozhikode during the selection process.
EMAT assess the basic logical, numerical and verbal ability of candidates, necessary for
successful completion of the programme. The objective of the screening test is to filter the entry
of candidates to the EPGP programme offered by IIMK in order to ensure the required
standards by assessing the capabilities of the applicants in an objective manner. The test will be
designed and evaluated by IIMK.
The contents of the test will be questions on testing logical reasoning in addition to questions for
testing numerical, data interpretation and verbal skills of the candidates. The test will be of onehour fifteen minutes duration consisting 30 questions. The three separate sections are those
which test (i) Numerical ability & Data Interpretation (ii) Verbal ability and (iii) Logical reasoning.
Each section will consist of ten questions. Different questions may carry different weights and
there will negative marks for wrong answers.

TITLE

:
Participants of the EPGP, on successful completion of the programme, would be awarded the
title 'Executive Post Graduate Diploma in Management' (EPGDM) by IIMK, accredited by
AMBA (Association of MBAs).
Please refer the AMBA website (www.mbaworld.com) for more details about AMBA
accreditation.
APPLICATION FEE :

All the candidates applying for EPGP programme required to pay a non-refundable fee ` 2300
per application through online using Net Banking, Credit Card## / Debit Card##
Payment through any other mode is not acceptable. Application fee once paid is not refundable
or adjustable under any circumstances & applications received without fee will be merely
rejected.

Visa, Master, Amex cards are accepted. Bank Transaction charges for Online Payment of fees will have
to be borne by the candidate.
HOW TO APPLY:

Candidates are advised to go through the prospectus in detail before applying online
Step 1. Register online for the programme and generate application number to login to online
application. Candidate to use the application number, and password submitted at the time of
registration to login to fill application.
Step 2. Apply online by filling out a form and upload your recent photograph. Please refer the
instruction to fill online application before start filling the online application.

Annexure I - List of Documents to be attached along with application form.
Candidates successfully submitted the application online, are required to send Two copies
of application form duly signed by the candidate along with following documents annexed
properly.
1. One passport size colour photographs same as uploaded in the online application form.
Write name and application number on the reverse of photograph.
2. Copy of CAT/GMAT score card (Applicable only If the admission seeking on the basis of
CAT/GMAT score)
3. Self attested copies of following academic records (Xth onwards)
i)

Xth /SSLC Certificate & Mark Sheet.

ii) Pre-Degree/Plus-Two/HSC/VHSC Mark Sheet & Certificate.

iii) Degree mark sheet of all years & Certificate.
iv) PG/Other Higher Qualification mark sheet of all years & Certificate.(Not a mandatory
Requirement)
4. Self attested copies of all experience certificate(s). Five years of work experience
obtained after completing graduation is mandatory.
5. Self attested copy of experience letter /reference letter /employment details confirmation
letter from the current employer.
6. Self attested copy of a valid Photo Identity proof (Passport/Driving License/PAN
Card/AADHAR Card)
7. Self attested copy of employee ID card & one visiting card (If available) of the currently
employed organisation.
8. Copy of online fee receipt.

NOTE
1. Please do not send any original academic record along with the application form.
2. All original certificates (Academic & Experience) should be produced for verification on the
day of Interview/EMAT exam date.
3. Candidates failing to produce the original certificates for verification will not be permitted to
take EMAT examination/Interview.
