SUMMARY:
The Terminal Operator monitors pipeline activity, inventory and arranges for incoming
product shipments. Maintains and monitors terminal systems and loading equipment.
Performs quality control tests, supervises product loading, enforces safe practices,
gauges storage tanks, maintain site files and uses company computer programs to
assist in terminal operations. Instructor of on-site drivers, data entry, mechanical skill.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform routine and non-routine repairs and maintenance to terminal equipment
pipeline and machinery
Monitor and manage incoming pipeline tenders of product and ensure delivery to
proper storage locations
Perform and track scheduled maintenance on terminal equipment and machinery
Prepare and track terminal throughput and inventories
Maintain terminal record keeping regarding product quality, testing, permitting
and inventories
Maintain terminal automation systems and work with support on problem solving
and/or upgrades
Perform equipment calibrations and certifications according to local, state and
federal guidelines
Performing operational duties in accordance with the Terminal Operating
Procedures Manual
Responding to emergencies 24/7 and maintaining emergency and measurement
equipment
Completing mandated safety, hazardous materials and regulatory training
Available to respond to guest issues 24/7 on a rotating schedule
Performing accurate and timely daily inventory and regulatory reports using
computer forms
Assisting with transport driver and new team member training
Respond to outside requests from stakeholders to update shipping information
Communicate and respond to federal, state and local officials for information
Monitoring and enforcing all safety rules and regulations
Perform product testing with company product quality standards
Maintain guest files for terminal facility loading and access, including updating
files as needed
Assisting with construction/maintenance projects
Identifying and pursuing cost reduction opportunities
Regular attendance at assigned worksite.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform specific tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
Promote and support company image standards.
Cross train and act as back up for other positions at the terminal.
Adheres to all city, county, and state regulations.
Stay familiar with the Company Handbook and Company Policies.
Communicate professionally and effectively with team members in other
departments to report and resolve problems and provide information as needed.
Work in a SAFE manner at all times and report all accidents immediately.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be capable of performing each of the

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in order to carry out routine tasks in relation to
the essential duties of the position. Able to perform these functions using decimals and
percentages. Exceptional mathematical skills are preferred, lots of inventory and gaugue
reading to calculate gallons of each tank, chart comparison.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Ability to operate personal computer with a general understanding of file management
and Microsoft Office Suite familiarity. Use of SalesForce chatter a plus but not required.
Data entry accuracy, and MS Excel and MS Word proficiency required.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in
written, oral, or diagram form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands described here are representative of

team member is regularly required to stand and talk or hear. The team member
frequently is required to walk. The team member is occasionally required to sit; use
hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
Climbing up and down stairs daily or weekly. Climb four to five tanks per week. Climb or
balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The team member must regularly lift and/or
move up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and
occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Work in lab on the diesel and gasoline
samples for product quality (training provided).
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision,
peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to examine documents,
reports and other data in either hard copy or electronic form. Must be able to climb the
equivalent of 5 flights of stairs, perform manual gauging and sampling and descend the
same distance within 15 minutes.
