DESCRIPITION OF ACTIVITIES
Land clearing is done to remove grasses, crop residues from the
land and other objects that can be harmful to the plant e.g. thorn.
Laying out is done to make farm activities done at much ease
and orderly.
Ploughing - is the turning up of the soil so that the sub- soil can be
exposed to the sunlight so it have a lot of nutrients for the plant
to absorb.
Harrowing was done to chip up the large soil clods into smaller
clods so that the soil can be loosely packed.
Mulching is the mixing in of manure (animal dung) in the soil to
keep it moist.
Planting planting was done so that the seedling can be planted
so as to grow healthy.
Watering plant watering of plant was done because water is one
of the conditions necessary for the growth of a seedling.
Spraying diseases the leaf minor was sprayed with coprid in
order to prevent further damage and also to prevent might other
diseases or organisms that might have been affecting the plant
but is not noticeable.
Daily Care and Maintenance of Crop watering was done aleast
six (6) times a week, which is one (1) times a day.
Harvesting of the Crop harvesting was done on the 16,
December, 2013 at 11.00 hours.
