I am currently a Substitute Teacher for the Anglophone West District in New Brunswick. During this time, I have
had the pleasure of working in multiple Elementary School in the district This opportunity has given me experience
in all Elementary Grade levels, has exposed me to many different teaching strategies and has further strengthened my
classroom management skills.

I am also currently working at an After School Fitness Program 2 - 3 times a week. This job has given me the

During my second internship, I was fortunate to be placed in Mrs. Cynthia Burnetts classroom. During this
placement, I taught fulltime for 7 of the 8 weeks. I taught: math, literacy, art, in class gym, social studies and science
(You and Your World). During this timeframe, I learned about inclusionary practices, had the opportunity to lead
guided reading groups, complete running records, and teach two math units.

Gibson Neil Memorial Elementary School

November 1 st,2014 December 19th, 2014

In my first placement, I had the privilege of teaching with Mrs. Lynn Facey in a grade 4
classroom, with 27 students. During my time at this school, I was able to collaborate quite
frequently with fellow teaching members during staff meeting and team meetings. Also,
having a class with a diverse group of students allowed me to further improve my
differentiation skills explore small group teaching and flexible grouping teaching methods,
as well as, develop excellent classroom management skills. I was also fortunate to have
taught two math units, participate in parent teacher interviews, and volunteer at several
school fundraisers.

For two months I worked as a teaching assistant at H.W Pick Up Middle School. During
this time, I worked alongside several teachers and helped grade 7 and grade 8 students in

For two years, I worked as an Early Childhood Educator. During this time, I taught Pre
School in the morning, following the NB Early Childhood Curriculum. I planned and
developed weekly lesson plans that promoted early numeracy and literacy skills. I also
directed the After School Program for children ages 5-12 years old, I planned weekly
activities and kept portfolios on each child.
