Tell me about yourself
Im Ronna Rica L. Co, I graduated with a Degree of
Bachelor of Science in Accountancy in Colegio de Dagupan. I have an experience of working as a customer service associate for more than a year in BPO Industry. Though I had a good working experience in my previous job, I finally decided to take the CPA board exam last May 2016 and fortunately I passed the exam. And now I want to apply for a job that is related in my chosen field.

How do you describe yourself as a person?
I would describe myself as a very determined and highly motivated person. I do take my job seriously but Im able to see things in perspective and believe Im quite easy-going to work with. Im an optimist rather than a pessimist but Im also a realist and I cope well when the going gets tough; Im very good at finding solutions to problems. Above all, I would say Im a positive and enthusiastic person. Optimistic person thinks the best possible thing will happen, and hopes for it even if it's not likely. Positive thinking, who always sees the bright side of any situation. Pessimist person - who habitually sees or anticipates the worst. Describe a book you have recently read.
Whenever I get time, I try to read books and the ranges vary from profession related books, technical, religious, fiction, classic and contemporary books. The book I recently read is Love Rules written by Marilyn Reynold the author of Detour for Emmy and To soon for Jeff. The book is not literally about Love. It is about two girls who are bestfriends. The other girl is heterosexual and the other one a lesbian. The story is more on how the lesbian named kit was being bullied by her classmates and how she react on those situations. How books can impact on a man's life? Books are good sources of knowledge and they actually enlighten us. Reading a book is a really good and helpful way whenever you are bored or stressed out. In this way, people can develop their imagination and nurture their mind and thinking skills. Moreover, there is a possibility for someone to change their view about specific things such as religious issues, gender parity, culture and so on and become more openminded by reading books. What is your favorite movie? Its quite hard to say what my favorite movie is because there are quite a few to choose from! But I would say that the one that made the strongest impression on me is a 2009 Indian movie entitled 3 Idiots. Two friends are searching for their long lost companion. They revisit their college days and recall the memories of their friend who inspired them to think differently, even as
the rest of the world called them "idiots". This is the
story of Farhan, Raju and Rancho who are engineering students at the Imperial College of Engineering, one of the best colleges in India. Who are your heroes? My heroes are my mother and father. They raise me and my brothers very well and were great role models. My mother was very organized and detail oriented, always keeping the house clean and welcoming, and my father was a hard-working, dedicated employee who would pride himself in giving his all and completing any task he set out to do. I try to exemplify those same characteristics in all aspects of my life, and I would love the opportunity to do so in this position. My hero are my parents. They taught me to always do the right thing; to value others and help them whenever I can; to plan ahead, work hard and do my best in any situation; to be a lifelong learner; to smile and keep a sense of humor even when things get tough; and to love, support and protect my family Why should I hire you? You should hire me because I'm the best person for the job. I realize that there are likely other candidates who also have the ability to do this job. Yet I bring an additional quality that makes me the best person for the jobmy passion for excellence. How has your education prepared you for your career? My education has focused on not only the learning the fundamentals, but also on the practical application of the information learned within those classes. Have you ever had a conflict with a boss or professor? How was it resolved? Yes, I have had conflicts in the past. Never major ones, but there have been disagreements that needed to be resolved. I've found that when conflict occurs, it helps to fully understand the other persons perspective, so I take time to listen to their point of view, then I seek to work out a collaborative solution. What about this job interests you? Ive applied to companies where I know I can get excited about what the company does. Your company is one of my top choices. This job is really attractive to me because it combines my interest and experience in logistics and security with work in a more global business environment. What are your salary expectations? Im sure that your company offers a fair, competitive salary for someone with my education / training, skills and experience. I am also willing to negotiate for the right position. Have you ever had a conflict with a superior or colleague? I think that everyone at some point has had a conflict at work whether its with a supervisor or co-worker. Ive found that when Im in a difficult situation, it helps to communicate with the other person, understand their perspective and try to work out a collaborative solution whenever possible. Do you have any questions? How many people work in this office/department? Is travel expected in this position? If so, how much?
What are the prospects for growth and advancement?
What would you say are the best things about working here? Would you like a list of references? If I am extended a job offer, how soon would you like me to start?
What Attributes Can You Bring to This
Company? My best attributes are my determination and passion. Without a passion for what you are doing, it is not possible to ideally perform your job.
How Would You Describe Your Work Style?
I am very focused on my work, and consequently, I am able to work quickly.
Are You Easy to Talk To?
I am really a good listener and approachable, and I think that makes me easy to talk to.
When Was The Last Time You Were Angry?
What Happened? Anger to me means loss of control. I do not lose control. When I get stressed, I step back, take a deep breath, thoughtfully think through the situation and then begin to formulate a plan of action.
Do You Prefer to Work Independently or On a
Team? I am equally comfortable working as a member of a team and independently.
What is your greatest strength?
My time management skills are excellent and i'm organized, efficient, and take pride in excelling at my work.
What is your greatest weakness?
I would consider the fact that I have never worked in this field before as a weakness. However, being highly trainable, open minded, and fast learner, I have no preconceived notions on how to perform my job. My greatest weakness is being too perfectionist. I like to make sure that my work is perfect. So i tend to spend more time than necessary on a task or take the
task personally that could easily be delegated to
someone else. How do you evaluate success? I evaluate success based on outcomes. It's not always the path you take to achieve success that matters. Rather, its quantifiable result. What are your goals in the future? My long term goals involve growing with a company where I can continue to learn, take on additional responsibilities, and contribute as much of value as I can. What do you see yourself 5 years from now? I see myself as a top performing employee in a wellestablished organization, like this one. I plan on enhancing my skills and continuing my involvement in professional associations. How do you handle stress? I react to situations rather than to stress. That way, the situation is handled and doesn't become stressful. What is your edge over other applicants? I have no idea what the other candidates youre considering might be able to do. My guess is youre looking at some top people, but let me tell you my attributes and why I think I have a unique set of qualifications that I hope would make me the best candidate for the job. I am competent and my skills are relevant to this job and my willingness to work under any kind of pressure. I am a fast learner and I can provide solutions based on my vast experience.
