My Total:
A Healthier Meal
By comparing the data from this chart to my daily recommended values, I can
conclude which meals are the least and most healthy for me. The most nutritious
meal would be the McDonalds's meal, due to the fact that it has the fewest calories,
fat, and sodium. Also, it is not the lowest in dietary fiber and it still contains a high
amount of protein. It is higher in only one category, carbohydrates, by 1.4 grams.
The least nutritious meal would be the Back Yard Burger meal. It has the most
calories, fat, sodium, and carbohydrates. It also has the highest dietary fiber and
protein, however, there are less caloric and fatty foods that can provide those
positive nutritional values. It seems that the fries are what really makes this meal
unhealthy, therefore, it may be a good idea just to forgo or substitute the fries.
