PROFESSIONAL POSITIONS
Legal Assistant at Deadwyler-Heuman Law Firm, LLC 2015-present
Responsibilities: As a legal assistant, I draft motions, file documents with
various courts, and perform legal research. I am responsible for a lot of the
organizational tasks in the office as well as maintaining our legal software. I
serve subpoenas, interact with clients daily, and sit in on court
proceedings.

Research Assistant at Wesleyan College, 2014-2015


Responsibilities: Assisted Dr. James Rowan in his neuroscience lab-specifically, testing the effects of psychoactive drugs on animal cognition
through injecting mice with nicotine, atropine, and saline and running
cognition tests on them.
Graphic Design Intern at Bare Bulb Coffee, 2014
Responsibilities: I designed and updated weekly the PowerPoints slideshow
that ran continuously on TVs within the shop. I used software such as
PowerPoint, Canva, and Adobe Illustrator to design the signage
and handouts used to advertise the shop.
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES
Wesleyan Admissions Volunteer Experience Leader, 2014-2016
Responsibilities: As an admissions volunteer, I gave campus tours to
prospective students, participated in campus visit days, hosted overnight
guests, and called students who had expressed interest in attending
Wesleyan.
Wesleyan Disciple, 2013-present
Responsibilities: As a Wesleyan Disciple, I attend weekly chapel services and
Bible studies as well as complete 12 community service hours a semester.
During my time as a Disciple, I have led chapel services and played guitar
as a worship leader.
Class STUNT Committee Chair, 2013-2015
Responsibilities: In this role, I worked with 3-4 other women, writing a
comedic musical to be performed at an annual competition for the purposes
of raising money for scholarships. As Chair of the committee, I was tasked
with organizing all of my committees drafts, outlines, and song lists as
well as
communicating with the STUNT Executive Board to complete deadlines.
Executive STUNT Co-Chair, 2015-2016
Responsibilities: I helped the Chair review drafts, schedule backdrop painting and
rehearsal schedules, and overcome conflict within the writing committees.
Executive STUNT Chair, 2016-2017
Responsibilities: As Chair, I am responsible for scheduling all of the progress
report meetings, deadlines, backdrop painting sessions, and rehearsals. I
am
in charge of an Executive Board that raises money for scholarships and
promotes the annual event. I work with the writing committees and casts
to
make sure their skits are ready to perform by February.
Volunteer at Daybreak Shelter, 2010-2014
Responsibilities: I volunteered on Sunday nights serving beverages to people
who were experiencing homelessness until the Sunday night dinners ended
in 2013. Then, I offered childcare for women attending a weekly Bible
study
until 2014.
Orientation Leader at Wesleyan College, 2014-2016
Responsibilities: Orientation Leaders are in charge of introducing and
welcoming new students to Wesleyan. I was expected to maintain the
utmost
professionalism while interacting with parents and a group of 15-20

students. I attended rigorous training on subjects such as the


campus
amenities, Title IX procedure, and campus safety.
Washboard Band Co-President, April 2016-Present
Responsibilities: In this position, I work with the other Co-President to
facilitate rehearsals, schedule performances, and maintain attendance
records. I am also one of the guitar players for the band.
