Oversaw daily operation and administration of 700 bed, traditional hall-style residence hall for first-
year students (2016-2017) and 300 bed, suite-style residence hall for upperclassmen (2015-2016)
in conjunction with Area Coordinator
Supervised, trained, and evaluated 24 Resident Assistants (12 directly, 12 indirectly; 2016-2017)
and 8 Resident Assistants (2015-2016)
Conducted bi-weekly one-on-one meetings with RAs to discuss job performance as well as any
issues or concerns outside the position
Worked with 4 Living Learning Communities (LLCs), meeting monthly with instructors and
Residential Case Managers, and supporting in developing RAs in LLC targeted programming efforts
(2016-2017)
Advised student-led Residence Hall Council (RHC) at weekly meetings
Responsible for programming efforts in the hall, including approval of RA programs, Living Learning
Community themed programs, RHC programs, and building-wide programs
Co-managed a building budget ranging between approximately $4,300 - $11,000
Supervised staff implementation of the Student Success Initiative (SSI), intentional one-on-one
conversations that RAs conduct with residents throughout the year
Identified and responded to student issues by working with university partners to intervene with at-
risk students and students in crisis
Adjudicated conduct hearings for students who violate the Student Code of Conduct utilizing
Maxient; cases include but are not limited to residential policy, alcohol violations, and marijuana
violations
Served as a hearing officer on the Universitys Student Conduct Hearing Board
Worked collaboratively with Housing Facilities staff to maintain a safe living environment through
completion of Health and Safety Inspections, building walk-throughs, and report and follow-up on
building maintenance issues
Attended weekly departmental meetings and bi-monthly committee meetings
Participated in an on-call rotation providing emergency response for residential population of
approximately 4,400 students
