Rule Set
General Rules
- Rules are subject to change at any time; it is the responsibility of all
participating players to know and understand the rules before the start
of any tournament match.
- Proof of scores (Picture) must be sent via Twitter DM to MWR_eSportsZa
after completion of the full rotation.
- The word of the Admin is Final. Any disregard to the admin will lead to
the player team being forfeited. Refer to General Misconduct.

- Silent Plant: Enabled
- Number of Lives: 1 Life
- Spectating POV: First Person Only
- Battle Chatter: Disable

- Time Limit: 10 Minutes
- Score Limit: 250 Points

Restricted Items

1) REGARDING KILLSTREAKS: Although killstreaks are NOT allowed, if they


are enabled, the hosting team can NOT be forfeited for it. It's a forfeit of
the map for whichever team that uses the killstreak.

2) Planting ontop of the bomb will be a forfeit of the map.

Gameplay Settings
The hosting team is responsible to ensure all settings are correct
prior to beginning the match. If the settings are found to be
incorrect and the host does NOT end the game, the hosting team
will forfeit that map. Using restricted weapons, attachments, perks,
or any other restricted item listed for the match will result in a
forfeit of the map.

If your team is in second round at the start of the tournament and


there is already a opposing team you are allowed to play that match
if both teams agree. In an event one team does not agree to play
second round already they are allowed to wait until the start of the
last round 2 matches. Keep in contact with the Admin via Twitter DM
on MWR_eSportsZa when the last matches is taking place.

LAG Issues

If there is a lag issue, the map is to be completed, and proof must


be provided via Twitter DM with a video. This means, If you are
lagging, you must play out the map. While playing the map,
gather at-least 30 seconds of lag proof. If you leave the
game early, you will forfeit that map, regardless of lag. After
the Admin has watched the video and there is enough proof of LAG
the Admin will decide if you should replay the map on another host!

Hosting

In a best of three, the closest seed to 0 will host map one and
three. While the higher seed will host map two. In a best of five, the
closest seed to 0 will host map one, three and five. While the
higher seed will host map, two and four.

If both teams agree on a Mutual Host it will then be allowed. The


player that will be the Mutual Host must be in, in-game chat at all
times. If however one team does not agree to have a Mutual Host
then maps will be hosted as per-normal.

Players NOT from SA are not allowed to host matches at any point.
They are also not allowed to complain about LAG as this is an SA
tournament.

The hosting team will be the team spawning on bottom team. The
team not hosting will spawn top team. This will be for all maps and
game modes.

Host Dropping

If a player disconnects during a kill-dependent game mode (S&D),


the round must be completed. Upon completing the round, the host
must end the game and wait for the player to reconnect to the
lobby within 5 minutes and the map will be replayed from the round
count when the host ended the game. After the 5 minutes given to
the player to reconnect, the host may start the match with or
without the player that disconnected from the last completed round.
In the event of a host drop, the same rules apply.

If a player disconnects during a non kill-dependent game mode


(HP), the host must end the game and wait for the player to
reconnect to the lobby within 5 minutes and the map will be
replayed from the amount of points when the host ended the game.
After the 5 minutes given to the player to reconnect, the host may
start the match with or without the player that disconnected from
the map. In the event of a host drop, the same rules apply.

Sign Ups Subs

Teams are only allowed one sub per tournament. Subs are not
allowed to be used as a rotational players, if proof is sent to show
this event happening the team guilty will be forfeited of the entire
series. Once the sub has been used the sub must complete the
entire round of rotations before the subbed player can rejoin to play.

If a team has no sub registered, they are not allowed to use a sub.
The team in need of a sub must first register the sub via Twitter DM
to MWR_eSportsZa to use the sub.

Spectating

No player is allowed to spectate any match! In the event of a


Mutual Host the player is only allowed to spectate one team at all
times. Regarding Mutual Host please refer to heading Hosting.

We have an account of the name MWReSportsZa , that must be sent


a friend request. This account is the only account that is allowed to
spectate. No team can refuse this as this is a tournament account.

If any random player joins while the game is busy being played and
is not spawning in and has left, the match must be played on. If any
random player joins while the game is being played and has
spawned in, the match has to be stopped and started back up with
the score as it was before ending the game.

No-Shows
A team has 15 Minutes to show for the match with the correct
amount of eligible players and roster as shown for the match; failure
to do so will result in a forfeit of the match.

In the situation that the opposing team does not show for the
match, your team is to acquire valid proof (Picture) of the opposing
team not showing within the 15 Minutes offered to join the match,
and send proof via Twitter DM to MWR_eSportsZa.

Once the bracket has been updated and there is two teams in the
bracket, from that point onward 15 minutes is counting down for
teams to be ready.

General Misconduct
If a player uses vulgar language towards any admin their team will
be forfeited and banned from two tournaments. If any player tweets
something that will put the tournament host in a bad light the
player and his/her team will be forfeited and banned for two
tournaments. If this is reoccurring the player and team will be
banned from all future tournaments.

Player to Player misconduct has nothing to do with MWR_eSportsZa!


This is seen as a person issue and MWR_eSportsZa will take no
action towards this (If not influencing MWR_eSportsZa).
