2. Used to:
express a personal opinion or give advice;
imply that the speaker knows something that the listener doesnt;
imply that the speaker has a better knowledge than the listener of the right thing for
them to do but hasnt got the power/authority to make them actually do it (weak
obligation).

We use mustnt when we are not allowed to do something, but in this case there is no

2. Used to:
Express regret about something which happened or didnt happen in the past
Speculate about how things might be altered if something had or hadnt happened
in a different way

I woke up late this morning, because I didnt hear the alarm clock. I tried to hurry up to
catch a taxi to get to work on time, but I couldnt find any free taxi, so now Im running late
and I havent got any idea how or when Ill get there. Oh, how I wish I had heard the alarm
clock this morning!

We use wish + past simple/continuous to express regret about a present situation, that we
would like to be different, while wish + past perfect is used to express regret about a past
situation. In this case, we have a passed situation, the exams have already been given and
we havent passed them.

moments were happy and others were sad. One of the saddest moments for me was the
disappearance of Rileys imaginary friend, Bing Bong. Bing Bong and Joy got stuck in the land
of forgotten memories, and Bing Bong started to disappear. First he lost a piece of hand,
and then an arm, and when he realized he was disappearing forever, he decided to sacrifice
