    I love to tell the story What a friend we have in Jesus,
    of unseen things above, all our sins and griefs to bear!
    of Jesus and his glory, What a privilege to carry
    of Jesus and his love. everything to God in prayer!
    I love to tell the story, O what peace we often forfeit,
    because I know 'tis true; O what needless pain we bear,
    it satisfies my longings all because we do not carry
    as nothing else could do. everything to God in prayer!
    I love to tell the story;
    'twill be my theme in glory Communio
    to tell the old, old story Amazing grace how sweet the sound
    of Jesus and his love. That saved a wretch like me.

    Responsorial Psalm Ps 62:2-3, 6-7, 8-9 Was blind but now I see.
