    Practice target Exercise 5: Ss read the sentences. Elicit the first answer from the class; Ss then continue individually to T-SS
    language complete the exercise. Allow Ss to compare their answers in pairs before checking with the class. S-S

    language Ss then work individually or in pairs, completing the sentences. Explain that sometimes more then one S-S
    answer is possible. Check with the class.

    Practice target Exercise 7: Ask Ss to work in pairs and add more words to the lists. Before they start working on their T-SS
    language own, elicit a couple of words from the class. After they have finished, elicit the words and write them on S-S
    the board.

    Practice target Exercise 8: Have a discussion with the class about the activities in Exercise 6. Encourage Ss to give T-SS
    language reasons for their opinions.
