General Requirements
- Minimum High School Diploma
- No written penalty due to flight default or lack
of discipline
- No criminal record

- 5,500 total flight hours


- 3,000 PIC hours on aircrafts over 27 tonnes
Minimum Technical Qualifications - 1,500 PIC hours on jet aircrafts
- Within last 2 years, not a break of more than
12 months on one of the following aircraft:

Contract Term - Permanent Contract (no term)

- 5 days on, 2 days off, or


Roster - 6 days on, 1 day off (2+2+2+1+1)
- THY tries to give pilots 4-5 days off in a row

- USD 9,400.00/month based on current


Monthly Payment Includes Base Salary and
exchange rates. Salary in Turkish Lira is TL
Bonus

- Base Salary: - TL 18,029.00/month

- TL 8,862.00 paid quarterly (March, June,

Per Diem:
- As to other destinations worldwide, per diem
is determined in varying amounts depending
on the country to be traveled.

- Overtime of TL 178.14 per hour over 70

Overtime: - If the pilot flies on Turkish religious and


national holidays or on Sundays, then he shall
receive an additional payment for such days
calculated over a special hourly rate.

- Standard Turkish Airlines Health Plan (offered


to all THY employees). This is comprehensive
health insurance and for a small fee, pilot can
Medical Coverage also insure his/her entire family.

- Crewmember receives both the Turkish


Airlines private plan and a public health plan

- ATPL license insurance by THY against risk of


Loss of License Insurance loss of license due to medical reasons. Current
insurance coverage is USD 100,000.00

- Turkish Airlines will arrange and pay for all

- Paid funeral (death) leave of 7 days in case

- Paid leave of 5-12 days in case a natural
catastrophe occurs in locations where the
pilot, his/her spouse or first degree relatives
are residing.

- Pilot may also be granted with a non-paid


leave of up to 90 days/year for certain
circumstances

- Pilot will be granted with two ID90-R2


(Rebate) Tickets monthly for the pilot and
his/her family

- After one year of employment, one (1) 100%


pass ticket and two (2) 90% reduced rate
tickets for domestic flights for spouse and

- After second year of employment, one (1)


additional 100% pass ticket for international
routes (Middle East and Europe only).
Travel Benefits
- After third year of employment, one (1)
additional 100% domestic flight ticket

- After fifth year of employment, one (1) 90%


reduced rate international flight ticket.

- After tenth year of employment, four (4)


additional 90% reduced rate international
flight tickets

- Expat pilots will be provided with the same


salary, social, and personnel benefits being
