Step 4Differentiation/Accommodation/Modifications
Which strategies/methods will you use differentiate for different learning styles? How will you
accommodations and modifications for special needs students (IEP)?
For students who need to move around, this will provide them that chance during Chalk Talk.
They will also have a chance to speak anonymously, so shyer students will be more
comfortable participating.
This also makes things more respectful and anonymous for a touchy topic like religion and
using the word myth for origin stories of religions that people very strongly believe. Students
wont be condemned if they are anonymous during the Chalk Talk.
Students will have the benefits of reading MOV out loud and also at home if they need different
reading methods to learn.
