INVENTORY OF PEACE EDUCATION MODULES

Peace Education Teaching Department of Education (DepEd) The Peace Education Exemplars are classroom tools in the teaching of peace

(Printed In 2005) peace concepts. They are presented in the lesson plan format with the 4As
approach (Activity, Analysis, Abstraction and Application) as a strategy. The
lesson plan format includes Objectives, Content, Procedure, Evaluation and
Assignment.
Direct and Skill Objectives were utilized. Direct objectives are peace concepts
and values found in the MAKABAYAN, Science and Values Education Learning
Competencies. Skills objectives are those found in the Communication Arts
(English and Filipino) used as entry points.

Peace Education Module for Department of Education, Culture and For Grades IV to VI. Written in Filipino.
Elementary Level (1999) Sports (DECS) The module consists of prototype lesson plans that serve as exemplars for
OPAPP teachers in integrating peace values and concepts in regular subject areas in
the most natural manner.
