    Lesson Outline Reflection
    Starter 1. Teacher starts the lesson with an activity called ‘Think-Pair-
    Share’.
    2. Teacher asks the pupils to list the animals that they know.
    3. Teacher encourages the pupils to create a mind map about
    the animals that they know.
    4. Teacher asks the pupils to share their work with their
    partners.
    5. Pupils talk with their respective partners.
    6. Teacher asks the pupils to share their work with the whole
    class.
    7. Few pupils volunteer to present their works.
    8. Teacher praises the pupils and do ‘share your view’.

    Main Activities 1. Teacher introduces verbs.


    2. Teacher teaches about verbs.
    3. Pupils listen.
    4. Teacher continues the lesson with ‘Shared Reading’.
    5. Teacher tells a story entitled ‘A Day At The Zoo’.
    6. Pupils listen to the story.
    7. Teacher introduces the verbs; waddle, fly, hop, swing,
    jump, stomp and etc.
    8. Teacher highlights the verbs .
    9. Teacher asks several questions based on the story.
    10. Pupils take part by identifying the verbs in the story.
    11. Teacher praises the pupils and do ‘share your view’.
    12. Teacher proceed the lesson with an activity called ‘Quiz
    Quiz Trade’.
    13. Teacher gives a picture of animals to each pupil.
    14. Pupils keep the picture to themselves.
    15. Teacher plays song, pupils walk around the class.
    16. Teacher stops the song, pupils stop walking.
    17. Pupils find their closest partner.
    18. Pupils ask questions about the verbs related to the picture
    to their partners.
    19. The partner answers the questions using verbs.
    20. Pupils guess the verbs.
    21. Pupils trade the pictures.
    22. Teacher repeats step 11-17.
    23. Teacher asks the pupils to go back to their seats.
    24. Teacher divides the pupils into three groups; Cheetah,
    Wolf and Panda.
    25. Teacher prepares ‘Choices Board’ with three questions;
    Poem, Story and Song.
    26. Teacher distributes the worksheet to each group.
    27. Pupils construct sentences using verbs.
    28. Pupils produce an artwork according to their interest;
    poem, story, or song.
    29. Teacher guides the pupils.
