Introduction to project:-
Gone are the days when people call multiple agents for booking hotels or flight
tickets .Todays everything is available via web. So, whether it is information on
hotel , tickets, local travel or even the sights and sounds of a particular destination,
it’s all available on just at click of mouse .Consumers are increasingly turning to
internet to satisfy their travel needs. From trip research and price comparison to
shopping and booking , consumers are finding the convenience of the web vital to
their personal and business travel needs.
We observed the problem at restaurant like the price of the food is higher than the
quantity of that food , the customers have to wait for the long time for the food
delivery. There are some mismanagement cases at the management section during
some important occasions such as the business meeting, seminars and for some
social occasions. There are some problems occur at accounts department like late
cashback payment , not accepting credit cards.

Formal decision making process for the evaluations and selection of project
were made by our group of members that is supposed to discuss ideas, and
make a decision on them. For our project, we discovered other activities that
were carried out outside the evaluation process. A good idea is the result of
the evaluation of the process, in which the idea is gradually created by
successive handlings and conversations and is made possible because people
participating in those handlings and conversations have achieved a common
opinion that the idea is good.

● Components:
The components participates the effective role in system construction. The
components used in our system are as follow:
o Programming Language: JAVA is used to create the website.
o DBMS: The Database is used for storing data of users.
Computer: This device is used by user to interact with
system.
o Browser: It is used as interface between user and
website.
o Debit card/credit card: It is used for transaction
purpose.
● Features:
The extensive features of our system are as follow:
o Photo Gallery: It provides the attractive looks of
the hotel.
o Comment Box: It is user oriented field in which user can give their own
opinion to get the room.
o Special offers for the events, multiple language for filling the form are
another amazing features.
● Behavior:
The online hotel management aims the better time management and
efficient transaction.
● User:
The users that utilize the system are as follow:
o Regular user: Businessmen, Celebrity, Sports Person
o Irregular user: Tourists, politician, common people
● Item:
The system servers the below functionality.
o Room Booking: In which it provides the booking of the room which
consists the criteria such as deluxe room, super deluxe room.
o Food Delivery: System provides the online booking of the food for the
people of nearest area.
o Tourism: It provides the information about the tourist places near by the
hotel area, it also provide the booking of travelling of that places.

Empathy maping considers the emotions of users which is included in the
story boarding part while potential users and stake holders and activities are
also described in empathy mapping

2) Make my Trip :- Make my trip is one of the most famous Online travel agency
.Make my trip has really very large network across many countries with many
attractive discounts.
This design of the app and website is quite similar which is kind of silly thing .
Mobile system has lower number of resources and should utilise less memory so
app should have less animations making app more effective but make my trip app
has very heavy animations making it quite less efficient . But overall the browsing
experience is quite good . On deeper examination of app and website we found that
the flight booking tab in app lacked the option to book international flight while it
was readily available on home page itself on website.
When it comes to providing services make my trip lacks a lot .Many people are not
happy with services the following screenshots prove it quite easily

Moreover Make my trip does not participate in consumer Affairs Accreditation
program.
3) Travel GURU: - It is a very good and rising online website. Though it is not as
popular as many other websites, it has fixed its position in market very well.
At first sight this site was looking very attractive and trustworthy until we saw
some reviews online by customers, the main thing in online hotel booking is
security and if this point is weak then no organization can survive.
Many customers have commented that after payment also their booking is not
confirmed. This can be the reason for not having so much popularity in India.
Some users have also reported that website information was misleading.
Now coming to User Interface website has done very well for this. It is the most
attractive website among we have seen until now. Still from customers’ view it can
be distracting and not to the point due to so much resources used.
Even travel guru does not participate in consumer Affairs Accreditation program
So it is quite clear from above screenshots that people are not at all satisfied with
the present services from this websites .Hence we vow to remove all this loopholes
of present traditional hotel management system
Conclusion: - So we did the exhaustive examination of Oyo rooms, make my
trip and travel guru. What we learnt is to make designs of the app and website
smooth and creative which lure the customer with more focus on customer service.
We also has to make logistics robust so that we can provide our customer service
with less error and to make system to decide that partnered hotels are giving the
service as they have promised.
Learning needs Matrix: - The Learning Matrix chart shows the development of
the webpage step by step all along the 4 year engineering program.
