    Dear Nursing Recruiter,

    My name is Amber Campbell and I am a soon-to-be graduate of Shenandoah University with a


    Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing, in addition to a second, completed Bachelor of Science
    degree in Biological Sciences. I was informed of the open positions at Winchester Medical Center on
    the Valley Health Careers web page. I am interested in the Med Telemetry Step Down Registered
    Nurse (full-time position #206025) that is currently available at Winchester Medical Center.

    I believe I am qualified for this position because although I will be a new nursing graduate, I am
    currently completing my preceptorship in the Operating Room at Winchester Medical Center. My
    experience has been focused mostly in crisis/emergency situations working as a Deputy Sheriff,
    participating on a Search and Rescue Team, and attending other trainings like Crisis Intervention. I
    have also completed a clinical rotation on this specific unit and enjoyed the experience.

    I would be a good addition to the organization because its mission statement and values closely align
    with the environment I wish to work in. Providing healthcare to my community and improving their
    health with compassion, excellence, courage, integrity, and closely collaborating with others is what
    I’d hoped my nursing career would include. I am a critical thinker, have great evaluations for
    accurate assessments, love to time manage, and enjoy challenges which increase my knowledge.

    I am deeply interested in this position and would be honored to join your team if I fit the needs and
    goals of the organization. Thank you for your time in reviewing and considering my application. I
