He had to kill Sir Fuller. According to the information, Fuller was traveling to Darjeeling. Birendra developed a plan for the murder to be carried out during Fuller’s stay in Darjeeling. However, Fuller changed his plan and the plan to kill him did not happen. The next task was scheduled for 1908, which involved the murder of the Muzzaffarpur magistrate named Kingsford. It was infamous for issuing harsh judgments against freedom fighters. On April 30, Khudiram Bose and Prafulla Chaki took a position to bomb the car carrying Kingsford. However, due to the wrong information, they bombed another car that was carrying two English girls. Right after the bombing, Prafulla Chaki escaped quickly and went to the Samastipur station.
There, he changed his appearance and, with the help of
a railway worker, organized a train ticket. Unfortunately, at the station, a police officer recognized him and was prosecuted. DEATH OF PRAFULLA CHAKI Prafulla Chaki decided to commit suicide on May 1, 1908, when he was about to be captured by police at the station. Khudiram, who had already been taken by the police, confirmed the identity of the great martyr. Chaki’s death was greeted with the tears and anger of the Bengal revolutionaries.
