Yoko, a Japanese student, has just come back from Morocco where she spent two weeks, when asked
about her visit, she said:
“While I was in Morocco, I travelled to different parts of the country. I started my trip in Rabat where I
enjoyed visiting a lot of historical monuments, such as, Shalla, Loudaya and Hassan Tower. Then, I took the
train to Casablanca where I visited Morocco-Mall and I did shopping there. However, I quickly left it
because it looked crowded, noisy and polluted for me. In Marrakech, I stayed a longer time because I loved it a
lot. I visited the Badia Castle, Koutoubia, and Menara, but I spent most of my time in Jamâa Lafna Square
where I discovered and tasted famous Moroccan dishes like Tangia and Couscous. I also took some great
pictures there, and bought a gift for my sister, which was: a green caftan. I was so much interested in the
Moroccan culture that I decided to go back to it the next summer holiday.”
