the central Pacific, and negative changes across small areas of the eastern Pacific.

Summary
• Warm ENSO-neutral condition persists in the tropical Pacific;
• Rainfall condition:
• May – generally near to above normal rainfall in Northern
Luzon, near to below normal rainfall in central Luzon and
Visayas, and above normal in Mindanao
• June – generally below to near normal in most parts of Luzon
and above normal in eastern portions, mostly near normal in
Visayas and mostly above normal in Mindanao.
• Near average to slightly warmer temperature observed in May
and slightly warmer in June 2017 in most parts of the country.
• No tropical cyclone entered the PAR in May and June 2017
