This document summarizes parameters affected by a new feature, including an RNC parameter that controls supervision of uplink synchronization for a secondary serving E-DCH radio link, UE and UTRAN cell parameters used for intra-frequency measurement reporting on a secondary frequency, and an RBS parameter where the deactivation of a secondary serving HS-DSCH cell must wait until deactivation of an associated uplink secondary cell carrier if that carrier is active when a timer expires.

Affected Parameters
Table 2 describes the parameters affected by the feature.
Table 2 Affected Parameters
Parameter Description RNC Parameters Rcs::hsDschRcLostT Also controls the RCS timer for supervision of uplink synch of RLS containing the secondary serving E-DCH radio link. UeMeasControl::reportingRange1a These parameters are also used by UE functions for intra-frequency measurement reporting (in CELL_DCH) on secondary frequency. UtranCell::reportingRange1a For more details check reportingRange1aOffsetSecondary. RBS Parameters Carrier::hsdpaMcInactivityTimer The DL secondary serving HS-DSCH cell cannot be deactivated if a corresponding UL secondary cell carrier exists and is activated. If the UL secondary cell carrier is activated and the hsdpaMcInactivityTimer expires, the deactivation of the DL secondary serving HS-DSCH cell must wait until the UL secondary cell carrier is deactivated.
