    Factories, Food, and Transportation all are examples of the many 

    kinds of causes of climate change. Climate change is a serious thing it 


    needs to be taken care of. A website that I used for factories is Field.org.uk. 
    The website that I used for food is Science news for students. For 
    transportation, I used uscusa.com and center for biological diversity. I 
    picked these examples because I think that these are one of the most 
    impacting and important reasons for climate change. 
      
    Factories have a huge impact on climate change because they 
    release dangerous chemicals. They emit dangerous chemicals for example 
    CO2. We have many factories all over the world. “​Toxic materials and gases 
    are burned and released into the atmosphere, such as carbon dioxide 
    and methane.” This quote shows that factories release these dangerous 
    chemicals. These chemicals absorb the sun’s radiation so that is how they 
    affect the climate, they change the temperature. We cause this to happen 
    because we are building many factories even if we know that they have 
    this impact on the earth.  
     
    Food also has a impact on climate change because the resources 
    that we use to make food release chemicals. An example of a food 
    resource that releases chemicals is cows. They release methane. “One 
    greenhouse gas emitted through the production of our food is carbon 
    dioxide or CO2.” This shows that the production of food releases CO2. We 
    cause this because we eat and waste so much food it breaks down and it 
    rots and releases these chemicals. For example, we get beef and milk from 
    cows, but cows release methane so we release even more when we make 
    more cows to have more beef and milk. 
     
    Transportation also has an impact on climate change because the 
    most common type of transportation which is cars releases a lot of CO2 
    and this is really bad for the environment. They also cause air pollution. 
    Globally, about 15 percent of manmade carbon dioxide comes from cars, 
    `trucks, airplanes, ships and other vehicles.” This quote shows that 
    transportation releases CO2. The 15 percent doesn’t look like it is a lot but 
    it really is.  
     
    In conclusion Cliamte change is a really important thing to focus on 
    about because it is happening. ​Factories, Food, and Transportation all are 
    examples of the many kinds of causes of climate change. Factories 
    realease huge amounts of CO2. Foods releases methane and CO2. 
    Transportation releases big CO2.
