Detailed Lesson Plan

A. CONTENT STANDARDS
 The learners demonstrate an understanding of the different phenomena that occur in the atmosphere.
B. PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
 The learners shall be able to analyze the advantage of the location of the Philippines in relation to the climate,
weather, and seasons.

 The learners shall be able to explain how some human activities affect the atmosphere. S7ES-IV-d-6

At the end of the lesson the students should be able to:
 Relate the concept of greenhouse to the increasing temperature of Earth’s atmosphere..
 Identify solutions to minimize the effects of global warming.

works.

The teacher will also explain why Earth’s atmosphere is


compared to a greenhouse and how greenhouse effect
happens.

To further understand the effect of greenhouse gases the


teacher will show a twin planets and the concentration of
carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Ask the students:

explains its high surface temperature?
