3.1 Issues Resolved
Nil

3.2 General Issues/Comments

 It was observed during the stringing of ACSR Lynx conductor in between tower
location # 102 & 103 PPEs were not used by contractor’s team. HPK team advised
consultant AEC and Contractor’s team to ensure the proper use of PPEs during
activities at site to avoid any hazard. (See Fig 05)
 During inspection of ongoing stringing activities 01 No disc insulator were found
damage on site .HPK team advised consultant AEC and Contractor’s team to
handle equipment and accessories with adequate care to avoid any damage in the
future. (See Fig 06)
 During Inspection it was noted that insulators at tower location # 109 were tilted
inward. HPK team advice consultant AEC and contractor team to take necessary
corrective action. (See Fig 07)
 During inspection ACSR Lynx conductor between tower # 111 & 112 found
neglected on open land. To avoid any theft and damage to the conductor, HPK
advised consultant AEC and Contractor’s team to complete stringing in between
tower # 112 & 112 as early as possible. (See Fig 08)
 During inspection it was noted that approved Sag Tension Template was not
available with the contractor team. AEC was advised to collect the approved Sag
Chart from TESCO
 Site Register was not available at stringing site for recording of comments

3.3 Issues Contrary to Design Conformity

During inspection of completed stringing activities inadequate ground clearance of
ACSR Lynx conductor was found between tower location # 112 & 113.HPK advice
consultant AEC and TESCO to take necessary corrective action. (See Fig 09)
