    EUCALYPTUS – EUCAESSENCE

    INTRODUCTION

    Eucalyptus is a medicinal plant used mostly in the treatment of respiratory tract


    problems, the products of said plant have antibiotic, antiviral, antiseptic and
    bactericidal actions on agents that cause respiratory tract infections, eucalyptus
    has the benefit of being able to calm the pain of bone decalcification in people.
    The oil that is extracted from the eucalyptus leaf will be beneficial for all those
    who suffer from arthritis, muscle aches, scoliosis, as a form of relaxant.
    OVERALL OBJECTIVE:

    Obtain essential oil from eucalyptus leaves, using steam distillation distillation
    method.
    SPECIFIC OBJECTIVE:

    Know the main characteristics of eucalyptus.

    Know what are the main diseases of the muscular system that can be improved
    with the use of eucalyptus.

    Find out and know the effects that eucalyptus has on some diseases of the
    muscular system.

    It is widely known worldwide that eucalyptus helps fight respiratory problems but
    very few people know of its power for the muscle problems of those who suffer
    from arthritis, muscle aches, scoliosis as a relaxant of these diseases.

    Its great importance means that this oil can be used by any person in an
    adequate way without any risk since this is a natural and reliable plant that
    many people can use.

    The main component of our oil is the white eucalyptus or albar "Eucalyptus
    globulus". It’s the most common species used in these processes, worldwide.
    Eucalyptus has glands that secrete essential oils in its leaves, which produce
    their particular smell.
    The fresh leaves of eucalyptus globulus, that come from the forest producers of
    the district of Huamachuco, province of Sanchez Carrion (Peru), are put through
    a process of steam distillation. A plant sample without any bruises or cuts is
    then cut into small pieces.
    The process consists in heating the water with the eucalyptus leaves to create
    vapor, then the vapor is cooled down to recover these components in liquid
    form by means of condensation. The main objective of the distillation process is
    to separate several components to make the most of the oil. Later, in
    evaporation and drying, the objective is to obtain the least volatile component
    (oil). After this process the oil is bottled for distribution and sales.
    The Eucalyptus being a medicinal plant that has many properties, there are
    several countries demand this type of medicinal products. In the United States,
    most people prefer to consume organic and natural products. That is why, as a
    research team, we have considered it convenient to choose the State of
    California as the target market.
    After applying the matrix to find the costs we have determined the unit value of
    our product which is 13.35 soles, comparing the unit costs of our competition
    according to our target market concludes that we are entering the market with a
    competitive cost. To reach our customers, a website will be created as
    advertising among other social networks such as Facebook and Instagram, to
    capture the customer and be able to market our product indicating their benefits
    and the importance of their consumption.
    In conclusion, few people know the healing properties of eucalyptus, that is why
    we want to market this product in the United States - California. To reach our
    target market and be able to commercialize our product, the oil will be prepared
    based on the eucalyptus, for this, a process will be carried out to obtain the
    finished product, which will be beneficial for people of any age or anyone who
    has muscular problems.
