Introduction:-
M yrtaceae is an evergreen tree that is native to Australia, but grows
in many areas around the world.
It has many medicinal properties.
This tree can make an attractive
addition with its bark, interesting
foliage, beautiful flowers, and a
beautiful fragrance. They do a
particularly good job in areas that
mimic their native environment. Most of these trees grow quickly,
reaching a height of about 30 to 180 feet or more, depending on the
variety, with nearly 60 percent of their growth within the first ten
years.
Eucalyptus is difficult to digest when consumed whole, but its leaves
can be converted into a tea that is safe to use, or an essential oil for
inhalation or topical use. Eucalyptus leaves are an excellent source of
antioxidants, especially flavonoids, which protect the body from
oxidative stress and free radical damage. These compounds help
promote a healthy heart and protect it from disease.

Eucalyptus is a genus of over seven hundred species of flowering trees,

shrubs or mallees in the myrtle family, Myrtaceae. Along with several
other genera in the tribe Eucalypteae, including Corymbia, they are
commonly known as eucalypts.[3] Plants in the genus Eucalyptus have
bark that is either smooth, fibrous, hard or stringy, leaves with oil
glands, and sepals and petals that are fused to form a "cap" or
operculum over the stamens. The fruit is a woody capsule commonly
referred to as a "gumnut

Eucalyptus Tree is a saturated, neutral, mature green with a holly

undertone. It is a perfect paint color for a bedroom
Wait until the tree is at least 2 years old and at least 10 feet or
more in height before removing lower limbs. A plant that is
cut back close to ground level and then shoots up new
vigorous stems has been subject to a type of pruning called
coppicing. Most species of eucalyptus respond well to this
method of pruning.

The bark of this tree of this genus is the source of many alkaloids,
and the most well-known is quinine, a compound that acts as an
antifever, especially in the treatment of malaria. Eucalyptus
alkalis include the following: R-synconin and synconidine (the
steric form is co-with phenyl, R '= hydrogen) = R = quinine and
quinidine (the steric form is co-with phenyl, R = methoxy)
• diminidine (dihydroquinidine) hydrogenation (di-quinine)
(dihydrocodeine) The steric form is co-found with R = ethyl, R '=
methoxy) and it has been found that it has been used in organic
chemistry as the organic crystal form in asymmetric
manufacturing.
Eucalyptus oil is extracted from eucalyptus leaves. The fragrant
eucalyptus oil is extracted by steam distillation from fresh leaves
and branches of various types of eucalyptus such as Eucalyptus
polybractea R.T. Baker and smithii R.T. Baker Eucalyptus.
This oil is extracted from the eucalyptus tree, which has a
range of benefits, such as:
Eucalyptus oil is used as a reliever for rheumatic joint pain by
rubbing it on the painful sites and then massaging it.
Eucalyptus oil helps treat coughs, chest aches and respiratory
diseases, by inhaling the oil vapor produced by making a warm
water bath using the oil.
Eucalyptus oil helps heal cracks,
whether in the lips or in the feet.
Adding drops of it to the water
when showering or inhaling its
steam helps reduce the feeling of
fatigue and exhaustion, and helps
reduce nervous tension and tension and rejuvenates physical
activity.
It helps in treating varicose veins by applying it and massaging
it on a daily basis.
Eucalyptus oil is used to treat skin disorders and problems such
as infections; Therefore, it is widely relied upon in the
manufacture and installation of cosmetic preparations and
compounds.
Eucalyptus oil is used in hair and scalp care, by adding it to the
hair shampoo and massaging the scalp well during the shower,
it helps remove dandruff and protects the hair from falling and
breakage.
Eucalyptus oil is not recommended for pregnant or
breastfeeding mothers, nor is it recommended for children with
stubbornness.
As for the manufacture of eucalyptus oil, it can be prepared at
home from the fruits and leaves of the eucalyptus tree, by
placing a cup of eucalyptus leaves and fruits in the blender and
beating the contents, until we get small pieces that we put in a
glass container that can be sealed, then pour some olive oil until
it covers the fruits and leaves Then close the container well and
leave it for a whole week at the normal temperature of the

room, with an increase in olive oil in the event of a decrease in

its level, and the container must be shaken with its components
on a daily basis so that the olive oil absorbs all the benefits and
elements of eucalyptus and its smell, and we can raise the
concentration of eucalyptus by adding leaves and fruits Others,
as we explained earlier, while leaving the oil for another week to
absorb the new contents, and finally filtering the oil from the
remnants of the fruits and leaves of eucalyptus through a cloth,
and then it is ready for use.

Extraction Method
1) Find fresh eucalyptus

2) Wash the leaves in the sink with

water
This step is especially
important when purchasing
eucalyptus at a flower shop
because the leaves may be
sprinkled with a preservative.
Dry the leaves as much as
possible, but if there is little
water left, it will evaporate.

3) Calibrate a cup of oil (237 ml).

The best oils are light carrier oils,
whether it's cold-pressed virgin
olive oil, coconut oil, or almond
oil. Strong smell is unnecessary
because you want the eucalyptus
scent to dominate the oil.
4) Remove the stems of the eucalyptus leaves and gently
crush them with your hands. This will start extracting the oil
and your hands will smell like the leaves.

5) Mix oil and leaves in a slow cooker on low settings

6) Pour the eucalyptus oil through a fine strainer after the oil
has cooled.
-It is used to treat muscle relaxation in order to relieve
the feeling of shaking as a result of low body temperature
-Eucalyptus oil contains a chemical known as
"eucalyptol", which works in two directions, the first is
prevention and prevention of chemicals irritating the
mucous membranes, which cause asthma, and the
second is treatment because this substance is present in
asthma medications, which combat the existing bacteria.
In mucous membranes, eucalyptus bark is also known as
Jesuit bark, or Peruvian bark. It is prepared by separating
the bark from the tree, drying it and then crushing it into
a powder ready for medicinal use. The bark of the
eucalyptus tree is a medicinally active substance that
contains a variety of alkaloids, including the antimalarial
compound quinine and the anti-anginal agent quinidine.
Although the use of eucalyptus bark has been largely
used in the most effective modern medicines, the
eucalyptus tree is the only economically viable source of
quinine, the drug recommended for the treatment of
malaria.
