Vocabulary Teacher will set pictures of animals around the classroom to Flash cards Whole class 5 min Listening
review animals vocabulary.Students need to repeat them as
accurately as possible.
Game Students will be given four flash cards per team, then they are Board teams 10 min Speaking
going play the "hang man" game using animals vocabulary.

Activity Students have to practice "pyramid words"

They have to write animals´ names by using a pyramidal shape


Color sheets Whole class 5 min Writing
and spelling it at the same time,the teacher will give them the

first word of different animals to each student, then they will


finish the pyramid.For example:

mous
mouse

And finally they just draw the animal next to the word.They might
write the pronounciation of the letter if necessary next to it.

Productive Teacher makes teams of students and helps them tape their pyramid Color sheets Teams 10 min speaking
line word sheet on their backs, then each team makes a line and they have to Tape
spell the pyramid from the partner they have in front
(from top to bottom)when the last student finishes spelling it,
he will pass to the front andso on untill
all the team is done. Fisrt team which finishes wins.
Teacher has to monitor for correct fluency and pronounciation

Vocabulary Teacher will place different color sheets to review colors´ vocabulary Color sheets Whole class 5 min Listening

Energizer Teacher will tell students to stand up and when he says a letter
they have to run and touch a color that starts with that letter and the Color sheets Whole class 5 min Listening
last one on touching it, will answer a spelling question like "how do
spell YELLOW"?

Be the Teacher splits the group in teams of 3/4 students then they will be Color sheets Teams 20 min Listening
alphabet given turns. The teacher will ask a child to stand up and help him
make an "A" shape with their bodies so the next team has to make
letter "b", the next letter "c" and so on untill they have finished with
the alphabet. When the children are making a shape and it is
complete they have to pronounce the letter they are making the
shape of.

of the class and students have to spell it while he presses the
button "play" and if he plays "stop" the students stop, if he
presses "rewind" students have to spell the word backwards.
Example: *play* pi i en *rewind* en i pi, etc.

Spelling Students will practice the spelling of those words Flash Cards Pairs 15 Minutes Speaking
in groups.They will be given different flash cards,
they need to stand up and describe them.
