INTRODUCTION
Humanities and Social Science is a very crucial strand for a particular student
to have. In the future it will become one of the most useful course/job.
The Humanities and Social Sciences strand is designed for those who wonder
what is on the other side of the wall. In other words, you are ready to take on the
other side of the world and talk to a lot of people. This is for those who are
considering taking up journalism, communication arts, liberal arts, education, and
other social science-related courses in college.
On the job trainee are part of K12 curriculum that aims to train and orient
students about the work and our future career. OJT is very important not only to
teach students but what their chosen career to show students the reality about
working immersion. OJT will be our training ground. In our background OJT/Work
Immersion experience is very important while in applying a job; not realizing the
importance, it can bring to our future career path. Having a good performance during
OJT is very important especially on the reality of having work/job competition
towards job seekers and high qualifications of companies.

NARRATIVE SUMMARY OF ACTIVITIES DURING WORK IMMERSION
December 10, 2018 was the start of our work immersion deployment, at my first day,
we immediately faced with hard tasks. but it's of course related to the things that we need to
know or study as an immersion for ten days. It was about alphabetizing thick bond paper
piles of senior citizen beneficiary documents from A to Z, I can say that it's kind of hard and
fulfilling doing the task given because there are so many piles plus the fact that we should
never miss out even a single document from its alphabetical order, we do it with our eyes
fully open the whole time of doing it cause It could lead to start all over again if it messed up.
I can say that the first week, was loaded with tasks for us. We never complained or
anything negative feedback to the tasks given cause we know the fact that it's only for our
learnings and experiences.
December 12, Wednesday. It's the day where I experienced what a social worker
work done with their job, it is to face people, entertain, understand and help them with
everything that can help with. I experienced all those because I got the chance to facilitate a
Christmas party for children on ECCD Pangi. It was a great and a milestone experience for
me because I got to apply the things that I have learned on my academic strand. It's a bit
nerve-wrecking cause those moments is my first time facing with a lot of people as a
spokesperson/entertainer. I managed to still do it despite all that. It became a ground to face
my fears and be confident which I am lacking at.
Throughout the first week, there are days where our supervisor gather all of us
immersionees to discuss or talk about the government institution he's working. There weren't
a day that he assigns us tasks without explaining what's its all about.
At the first day of the second week, we were tasked to attend a seminar at Brgy.
Magkasag. All we have to do is just to attend and listen at the orientation conducted by
MSWDO-Libagon.
On the second day, we had an orientation about 4Ps, what's it all about and the
process of how it works. The head of the Pantawid Office explained it to us.
On the third day up to fourth, we were busy practicing our shadow play that would be
performed on the LGU Christmas Party. In the afternoon we were tasked to circulate some
of the municipal offices to gather pictures with the mayor, it will be used for the Christmas
party.
December 20, we designed the stage. At night, we had our LGU Christmas Party..
December 21, we are at the Kissbone Cove Resort located at Saint Bernard,
Southern Leyte. It is also a Christmas Party Event but only for the MSWD-Staff's. Of course
we were included because we're somewhat a part of it, even though it's just for ten days that
we are co workers with them.
It's not just a Christmas party event that we are there, We also had seminar entitled
'Values Formation' with a pastor/social worker.
