Synopsis:-
1. TITLE OF THE PROJECT:-

Quiz Management System.
2. ABSTRACT: (Not More than 100-120 words):-
The Purpose of Quiz Management System is to automate the existing manual system by the
help of computerized equipments and full-fledged computer Software, Fulfilling their
Requirements, So that their valuable data/information can be stored for a longer period with
easy accessing and manipulation of the same. The required software and hardware are easily
available and easy to work with.
Quiz Management System, as described above, can lead to error free, secure,
reliable and fast management system. It can assist the user to concentrate on their other
activities rather to concentrate on the record keeping. Basically ,the project describes how to
manage for good performance and better services to the peoples who are taking part in the
quiz.

 RDBMS (Relational Database Management System).

 Front End: Java
 Operating System: Windows 10
 Back End: MYSQL Community Server 5.5
5. STRUCTURE OF THE PROJECT:-
5.1. Proposed System:-

The proposed software system is expected to do the following functionality-
 To provide a user friendly and Graphical User Interface (GUI).
 The proposed system should maintain all the records and transactions, and should
generate the required reports and information when required.
 To provide graphical and user-friendly interface to interact with a centralized database
based on client-server architecture.
 To identify the critical operation procedure and possibilities of simplification using
modern IT tools and practices.
In its current scope, the software enables user to retrieve and update the information from
centralized database designed with MySQL . This software does not require much training time
of the users due to limited functionality and simplicity.
5.2. Module Description:-
5.2.1 Login Module:-

This is the main module in the Quiz Project. In this Module, Firstly, A New User can
Participate for the quiz by Entering their Login Id, Password in the login form. If they are new
user then he/she will be firstly register their name, and create their new User id and
password in register module.
5.2.2. Register Module:-
This is the next module in the Quiz Project. In this Module, A New User can register
themselves for participation in the quiz by entering their name, user id and by password and
then he /she will be registered.
5.2.3. Menu Module:-

The Menu Module will contains the subjects we have entered in the project
(IP,GK,ENGLISH,COMPUTER BASICS)Subjects and the user will access through login form,
And he/she will now access through register form. Then the user will choose a particular subject
through radio button and starts a quiz.
5.2.4. Test Module:-

The Test Module will contains the Subject the user will choose then the quiz will be started. The
questions will be displayed on the Test Module and the 4 Options are given user will select the
appropriate the option and click on next button to the next questions .and user will not able to
attempt all questions so he/she will click on get result button to display his/her score. And By
Chance the user will skip that question or tick on wrong option so the user click on Previous
button to move back to previous Question to modify their options.
5.2.5. Result Module:-

The Result Module is the Final Module in the Quiz System. This will contains the overall result
of the quiz. This will displayed the result of each user who can give quiz by their User id and
subject that he/she will choose in a menu module and result showed in the table form in a
Result Module.
6. FUTURE SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:-
The Future Scope of the project circles around maintaining information regarding:-
 We can give more advance software for Quiz Management System including more
facilities.
 We will host the platform on online servers to make it accessible worldwide.
 Integrate multiple load balancers to distribute the loads of the system.
 Create the master and slave database structure to reduce the overload of the database
queries.
The above mentioned points are the enhancements which can be done to increase the
applicability and usage of this project. Here we can maintain the records of Users and Others
activities effectively and efficiently.

 OS-Windows 10.
 Hard Disk-80 GB.
 RAM-4 GB.
SOFTWARE REQUIREMENT:-
 Java Language.
 Net Beans IDE 8.0.2
